Stayed Oct 11, 2025The building was excellent, good location, parking was nice, no parking deck. The pool, beach access was very clean and easy to get too.The condo was clean and everything we expected and saw in the pictures was there. There were some plumbing issues, wish someone had inspected the unit before we got there. All in all, we would recommend staying there, and would do it again the next time we are down there.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The tiki bar, pools and short walk to the beach was very convenient. Security is on it! The only complaint is we have friends that live in pcb and could not visit us (no guest allowed).

Stayed Jul 12, 2025This was our second time staying at The Summit but our first time in this unit. It was okay. The location is great, and close to restaurants (there is a gentleman’s club across the street; just fyi for families). We spent a week here, and it was live-able, but it needs a lot of improvement. The pictures make it look nicer than it is. The fridge door latch is broken and has to be jiggled around every time you close it, the shower handle is broken (as another review states) and falls off if you don’t push in while turning it, and the toilet flapper needs replaced as it makes a ridiculously loud noise almost every 20 minutes. It woke us up several times every night. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, because there isn’t a working fan in there. We told the owners about the mold, and they did offer to have someone out to clean it, but it wasn’t an immediate concern for us; we just hope they cleaned it before the next folks checked in. There was also confusion about beach chairs. There were no chairs provided in the unit, but the complex has an agreement with a company that sets up chairs every day. THESE AREN’T INCLUDED. We were told after sitting in some we’d have to pay 50 a day to use them. We realized that buying chairs would be less expensive, so the two chairs and umbrella now in the unit are there because of us (you’re welcome lol).Overall, it wasn’t the worst place we’ve been. The TV worked well, the view is nice, but we probably won’t stay here again.

Stayed Aug 1, 2024The pictures make it look incredible, but in person it doesnt live up to the expectations. The updates that make it look so nice in photos were definitely not done by a good professional and there are several other issues. Its absolutely not a horrible place to stay, but it's not a good value for the price. When I sent an email to inform them of damages/issues they asked if we needed a repair man to come out. I said we didn’t, but they sent a repair man anyway without letting me know or giving me a time to expect him. I have a 2 year old that has to nap. Unexpected visitors can throw off our entire day. The beds were uncomfortable, and the mattress in the master looked GROSS. The shower head was basically falling off the wall. The bedroom ceiling fan only works with the light on because the fan and the remote are not paired properly. They provide a standing fan to offset the issue though. The floors felt awful, which I could look past considering it's the beach... but my daughters feet were turning black on the bottom when she would walk around barefoot, so it wasn't just sand. The wait for the elevators is crazy, as is the parking. But again, it's the beach and we stayed in Aug. Not their fault. But definitely makes me wish we stayed at a smaller condo/resort. The only thing that we can really say we loved was the beach access and the pools. I'm glad we brought our own beach towels though, because none were provided.

Stayed Mar 2, 2024It was the perfect place right on the beach. The only complaint was the communication with the management. Check in procedures are through a different company not vrbo. They helped me to figure everything out but it would have been nice to have all information right when I booked it.

Stayed Jun 1, 2023Our family decided to take a short trip to Panama City Beach. The condo was close to many local restaurants and fun family activities. Very easy access to the beach and pools. The elevators were often not working so it make it difficult to get up and down but otherwise we had a great stay! Property owner fixed an issue with the lights very fast!

Stayed Jun 21, 2021The Summit was great as always. Unit 615 is as the pics look. Very modern and clean. The elevators do get very crowded so bring your patience. I suggest trying to offset your trips to the beach to avoid the crowds. Also, we seemed to have better luck walking to the elevator on the East end of the building. The only negative is that the combo washer/dryer took 3 hours to do a small load and was very loud. Also, we've been coming to the Summit for 17 years and we keep our arm bags with us in our cooler because you need them to get in from the beach. Your parking pass gets you in the front gate but one of the security guards got VERY disrespectful with us when we tried to come in the front gate in our car (not on foot) without the arm bands. I tried to explain that rule is for on foot and the guard asked me if I could read. I'm 48 years old. I promise i'm not sneaking in to party with my friends.
