THE PENTHOUSE AT SOMERSET - with Two Master Suites!

The location, space, beach equipment, and views from the balcony all stood out.

Gorgeous condo - fabulous view of the beach and the Marco Island sunsets. Condo is well-stocked with everything you need, and everything you could want for a day on the beach is available. Communication with the management company was great, which made for seemless arrival and departure. We love the Somerset, and the penthouse definitely did not disappoint!

Will be back...and hopefully soon! We took our two daughters - age 19 & 25 - and the condo was perfect for us. Plenty of space, amazing views of great sunsets, everything we needed. The locker on first floor was stocked with what we needed for beach time, inc umbrellas, chairs, & a wagon for transport. We've been to many areas of FL over the years, and this trip was in the Top 3, even with some intermittently sketchy weather.

The penthouse provided excellent views of the gulf as well as north and south beaches. The unit was furnished exquisitely and included all the amenities our family needed. We downgraded our rating to 4 stars because we had and unexpected problem with the Somerset management approving work to address issues with the Penthouse external entry way during our stay. At least 3/6 days of our rental were disrupted with work being performed from 8:30a - 5p. Our access in/out of the unit during this time frame was obstructed which became frustrating. Apparently, the listing agent could not do anything to help as the work was under the control of the HOA / building management.

Overall a great Condo vacation spot during the middle to end of August. Great location with low traffic to restaurants close by and plenty of cooking materials to cook in the condo. Plenty of space for 2 couples & an extra sleeper sofa if you wanted to bring kids. There was a bad smell in the dishwasher due to a possible plastic burn from the previous tenants & I discussed this with the team when we left. A few light bulbs were out, but nothing to really worry about. They had plenty of towels for the beach and a few items to take to the beach, but we brought and rented chairs, umbrellas, ice chest and towels. There was a bit of maintenance noise in the mornings, but not enough to disturb us. We enjoyed having the 2 large balconies, but only used the one facing the beach. Overall, if you are looking for a fun place to relax and recharge, this Pent House is definitely the place.
