Host was welcoming. Amenities were fine. The window unit being metal while it was raining created a loud noise through the entire night making it incredibly difficult to fall asleep.

This property has a great location near the Nelson Atkins Gallery, UMKC, and the Plaza. All of these are within walking distance, the latter two are four to five blocks away. The hallway external to the condo could be a bit cleaner, but the condo itself was good and clean. The host was quick to answer when we had questions.

The condo was clean, cozy and easy to feel at home in. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was nice to be close to so many attractions. Loved the rooftop patio too. Watching the chimney swifts up there was lovely.

The unit was very clean. Location was great. Slight problem with check in. We had all the check in info texted to us. Got into the complex with no problem. Tried getting into the unit we were given and the code didn't work. Tried a few times, finally called the emergency number given. The gentleman on the phone had us try a few times with different code. Eventually he told us we were at the wrong unit. Not sure what happened but we were where we were told to be. After all this we got into our new unit and all was good.

Very old. Some questionable tenants, elevator smells like pot. Property needs more outlets in bedroom especially by the bed for people with CPAP machines. Location is great.

In KC on a book tour, I wanted a safe spot centrally located, since I had appointments in all directions. This place was perfect. I was one block from the nearest diner, a few more blocks from coffee, 1/2 mile to Whole Foods. Parking was no problem. Bonus: The Nelson art museum's grounds are across the street. Loose Park is within walking distance. The unit itself was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The elevator wasn't working, but that information was communicated both before and after booking, and the walk up to the fourth floor was good exercise. The kitchen was well stocked, including four types of coffeemaker! The bed was comfortable, as was the sofa. Sheets and towels very nice. Livingroom was also comfortable for lounging and working. The unit has air conditioners, but I was comfortable sleeping with the windows open. Inside, the building is very quiet - I never heard any noise from the other units. Street traffic can be a bit noisy at night with windows open.

The condo is beautiful, well decorated, well supplied. The listing does say the elevator is broken but it should also be noted that the stairs are precarious. They are old and have outdated handrails that are lower than normal. It is very difficult to maneuver up them with luggage. The listing states there is plenty of parking in the streets but our experience is this is not true. I ended up having to park in a no parking zone, there was nothing within 3 blocks of the building. This condo is best for someone who did not bring their own car.

Photos of property were highly edited. Access was questionable at best. Stairs are fine. But limit your adventures coming and going 52 steps altogether. Bathroom needs some attention. No exhaust fan. And missing caulk around tub somewhat dingy? I guess that is the experience I paid for. I would not recommend

Super cute apartment, perfect for a couple. Right across the street from the Nelson. Stairs weren’t an issue. Kinda narrow but otherwise totally fine. Great touch having coffee for us. Thank you!
