'The Leeward Studio' at SeaStar Lofts on the Waterfront!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location in Eastsound! Some noise from restaurant next door, but not too bad.

Conveniently located in the heart of Eastsound this is a cute waterfront studio, perfect for a weekend getaway.

Fantastic little place right on the waterfront with amazing view and middle of the little town. Very European decor and we had everything we needed. The noise from the adjacent restaurant at night was a bit loud with windows open. And the door slamming from the other units was annoying. Other than that it was really great and we would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. Close to groceries, Brown Bear Bakery, and a great independent bookstore. Super walkable. Many good restaurants. Right in the water with a private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place.

This condo is in the heart of the small village on Orcas. We were so close to everything and our balcony was right over the water with amazing views. It was quiet and very comfortable!

The view is amazing. Plenty of amenities fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. The nightlights were a nice touch. We’ll be going back!

Great location in Eastsound with fantastic view. As others have noted, there is some noise from the restaurant next door (more in summer if you have windows open, as fan constantly runs). Also, you'd have to keep your sliding door blinds drawn at least part way if concerned about privacy, as the deck is shared with the unit next door with just a low railing between the two sides, ergo either side could peek around and see the other. Walkability is great. We stayed in winter, but we've often visited Orcas in summer and know how busy it gets; I imagine parking could become more challenging then. There is a 10-minute loading zone right out front, so that's helpful when unloading/loading luggage.Unit had comfortable bed and couch, nice bathroom. TV's at a weird position, directly in front of bed, so you have to twist and crane your neck if you want to view it from the couch. Terrific views from little desk in the corner that would be great for work/writing.Unit was very clean with one caveat: the pots and pans. As someone with food allergies which require me to cook my own meals, a clean kitchen with cookware and dishes that are also CLEAN and in good condition is a necessity. While the dishes were clean, the pot and pan I had to use for my dinner were abysmally filthy: imagine thrift store purchase that had been donated unwashed with grease and stuck on food. Yes, THAT disgusting. Replace the flaking nonstick pan. Scrub everything.

We couldn’t contact the landlord by email. The room was not cleanEd when we arrived. After we called another number they cleaned it promptly.

This a great comfortable place right in town close to a lot of great places. It’s on the water too. Nice stay.

It was very nice comfortable and had an excellent location . Just a short walk of everything you would need! Quiet and had a nice waterfront view! If I ever make it back to Orcas Island this is where I would stay .

Wow! What a perfect stay in a perfect location. We enjoyed the fresh, clean loft with a beautiful view. The locally roasted coffee that was provided was a very nice and thoughtful touch. Would absolutely recommend booking this spot if available.

Quaint, clean, and has everything you need. A beautiful patio overlooking the water and steps away from all the shops and restaurants.Would stay here again!!!

We loved our stay at Sea Star lofts! We wanted to be right in town within walking distance and this was exactly what we needed. The loft is small, but the kitchen was well stocked, including a cooktop, pots, pans, and spices. The hosts even provided both regular and decaf coffee, and creamer in the fridge! Some reviews mentioned the restaurant next door being loud, but we didn't find it an issue at all. The evenings on the patio watching the sun go down were absolutely beautiful. The two upstairs lofts do share a balcony with just a half wall between, so if you are looking for a more private balcony the downstairs unit might be a better fit since it has the full width balcony. Everything about it was lovely and easy. Comfy sleeping for 4 adults.

Beautiful room overlooking water. It was great being able to listen to the waves laying in bed at night. Centrally located in Eastsound. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Eastsound.

This place has the most amazing views and it is located in the heart of Eastwood in Orcas Island. Everything is walking distance.The Vrbo is spacious, comfortable and beautiful. I will definitely book this again for another weekend getaway.

We loved this place ! The view is amazing and the host super responsive and helpful, we needed a blender and she provided with one immediately. I recommend this place :)

This place is a comfy quiet place right in the heart of Eastsound.

Lovely view. Balcony is very small. Unstable balcony table. No satellite receiver so couldn't get local channels. All in all we had a marvelous stay. Eastsound has much to offer.

This property was perfect for our small family of three. Our daughter loved walking down to beach, and we enjoyed the convenient location with excellent views. We had a car, which was helpful for visiting Moran Park and going on excursions. But we were able to walk to dinner, shops & the grocery store. Our only mistake was not booking more nights - 2 nights is too short on Orcas Island!

The Leeward Studio is a perfect little spot in town. We found the location and view to be most rewarding. You’ll be happy to stay here. :).
