Communication was great upfront, easy check-in - they even let us in for early check in based on our flight which I didn't expect (although at check out housekeeping arrived prior to the 10am departure time). On arrival we were met with a dreadful smell coming from the closet. The mgmt co. came immediately but they couldn't find so they had to call someone else, who asked us to leave leading us to believe that something died as that was what it smelled like, even though they passed it off to a laundry pipe. Why this wasn't caught by the cleaning crew that morning is unknown. None of the windows opened, they were stuck, mgmt had to come try and get open for air since there is no A/C. Received another excuse as to why this problem. Only 3 windows in entire unit had screens, meaning we couldn't open and get any air because there were alot of bugs due to weather. There was a portable AC that helped in the kitchen but we had to borrow a few fans for bedrooms as there was only 1 for entire unit. There is not alot of natural sunlight and the lights in there do nothing to brighten the space. I turned lights on and thought they were off they were so ineffective. Many table lamps were broken, either the shade or couldn't turn on. So unit was very dark even during the day. The kitchen is poorly stocked and a mess, no teaspoons, chipped plates. Their BBQ looks like one you use when camping. If I was paying premium during winter season I would not be happy.

We have stayed at comstock in a different room before and know and like the building -masterbathroom light was out we reported it on first day and it was never repaired. it was so dark that we had to stay in other room so my wife could put in her contacts --pots and pans rusty ,non stick surfave scraped off and is dangerous, pots bottom not flat thus don't conduct heat well -worst utelsils, pots pans etc of any propety we have ever stayed at in 30 years!! -impossible parking space assigned to 207 resultant from size, wall and pillar -bbq is a joke--not a bbq actually a small camp stove -lovre shades don't block out all the light and ouside flood lights on all night long so rooms never get dark -shower curtain too short water gets out and creates a mess in guest bathroom -30 year old very noisy fans in both bathrooms
