This classy studio will become a nice castle to recharge for a new day exploring Waikiki.
You can see the beautiful sunset from the living room. You will forget all worries by looking the sunset.
A small kitchenette is there for you to prepare some snacks or even cook as it is fully equipped.
A balcony with panoramic windows to admire city, ocean and mountains. A queen size bed soft like a cloud is wanting you to melt down there and fully recharge for an adventurous day. A sofa to sit down for a while and watch the TV. What else someone needs on a vacation.
Pacific Monarch is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Pacific Monarch building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Island Colony condo itself, which offers a nice pool and Jacuzzi. - all at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

    Located close to everything you need. Being a rental unit, do not expect any help from the hotel staff. They will treat you like the plague. As for communicating with the owners, they close at 5, and are not in a rush to return calls or messages. All in all, you get what you pay for. This place serves its purpose for a place to crash between adventures.

    The fact that it’s so close to the beach was perfect. It’s a nice room with a kitchenette so if we wanted to cook we could. Maybe if we’d rented a car and could buy groceries we would have done that. Absolutely beautiful location.

    Location was great. Parking garage was frustrating and didn’t work well. Front desk was understaffed and long wait times plus they seemed confused with every question. Whole experience was only worth about 20-30% of the cost. Last night was good quiet but it was very loud all the other nights so sleep was an issue with band playing outside.

    Great to have a kitchenette, spacious, great location. Could use a new air conditioner, very noisy . Found the wording of the rules almost threatening. Emailed to ask for a late check checkout before we left for the trip with no reply. No where to store luggage in case of a later flight .

    This room is privately owned and not part od the Pacific Monarch hotel. However the check-in is conducted at the receltion of the hotel, but the communication with the host ia nothing to do with the hotel.We unfortunately booked a studio for our honeymoon and we regreted a lot. The pictures are missleading. The studio was a horrible experience for us. It's surrounded by consteuction areas which are very noisy starting with 6AM. Ext to the window there is a power generator from another hotel which is extremely noisy and didn't let us sleep. AC is also very noisy, dirty and placed close to the bed (pillows). You cannot sleapl with it turned on in the night. If you turn it on during the day is spreads a lot of dust.The views are 10% ocean, 40% co steuction areas, 50% other hotels.The balcony is super small and some metal objects for construction were stored there.The shower cabin is super small, the couch is full of stains and the pillows are disgusting.Overall the studio needs maintainance, as the walls present stains, as well as broken tiles.We asked the property to offer us a silent room 2 months before our arrival and avoid the construction area. We were accomodated exactly the opposite. We asked again to be moved to a different room and they replied after 3 days.The only goos things that I can mention are the location (Wikiki - in the middle of the loudest area), close to the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, small kitchen and beach umbrella/chairs

    Reservation, check in and check out were a breeze. The unit is centrally located, just a short walk from the Seaside Avenue in Waikiki, close to many shops and dining options. Great value and location! Definitely would stay there again!

    Our stay in Pacific Monarch 04 was nice. Good location and unit was as represented. Our stay is probably not a good representation of the property since construction was going on in the building and the adjacent high rise. The roof top pool was closed for renovation and fire alarms were being installed on our floor. Construction started in the early AM on the adjacent highrise with quite a bit of noise making sleeping past 6:30 unrealistic. Besides that, the folks at reception were very helpful and the Waikiki restaurants and night life was fun.

    Great location, everything you need is located around a corner. Did not care for the construction noise on a tower being built next door. but everything else was great. probably would do it again. great location.

    Property is an older style as most are. Very close to beach and amenities. No resort fees is a bonus with a top deck pool, spa, sauna and games room. TV didn't work and took me 3 days to work it out after retuning it. Some information on location, operating the TV and building amenities would be a lot better than the 12 page rental agreement. Could do with some new crockery and glasses. Plates chipped and coffee cups aged and cracked. Priced reasonable for Hawaii. Would I stay again? Probably.

    We enjoyed our stay. The only downfall is the 35 dollar parking and lack of no street parking. We walked 10 blocks everyday so we could park in a cheaper garage. Easy check in and great pool with hot tub! Will stay here again!
