Take In Ocean Views from Pacific Villas #4

This place was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights but wished it could have been a week. You can’t get any closer to the ocean, you can hear the waves always. At night we saw bioluminescence from our balcony. I could have spent all day just sitting there with a drink looking at the ocean. Pretty much heaven.

Pacific Villas #4 was an excellent stay! The rental was clean & had everything we needed. Location & view were amazing! Access from the street above made unloading & loading very easy. The parking lot below was great for overnight safe parking. I would highly recommend this unit!!

We had booked the house for 5 nights and we didn’t even stay one! The area surrounding the complex is very sketchy and we did not feel safe there. The balcony is small and photos do not depict what you see when you are on looking out to the ocean. What you see are extremely run down properties all around and the air out and in reeks with the smell of marijuana (which I know is legal in CA). The outside furniture and areas are filthy and just nasty. The inside seemed cleanish but way smaller than photos depicted. The appliances seemed okay and bathroom was fine just really small. The bed sat so low it was almost on the floor and sofa very worn. We have rented many times through VRBO for over 30 years and have never had photos be so misleading or owners be so unwilling to work with us and make things right. We contacted the property manager immediately. Tom was very defensive and said it was past the 14 day refund policy so he couldn’t do anything for us. After several more phone calls he said that if he rented it he would refund us something. He ended up renting it for 3 of the 5 nights but we only received a refund for a little over 1/4 of what we paid in full. We weren’t expecting a full refund but we thought 1/2 would have been fair. Lesson learned don’t believe what you see in the photos and do a google earth search to see what you are getting yourself into!!!!

From the comfy bed to the sound of the ocean...all was just what we needed! Hosts were very informative and left nothing to question. Very clean with all of the amenities! Beautiful sunset as well, which was a surprise from the overcast day! 5 stars!! Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect low key place next to the beach. We’ve stayed here before and it’s perfect for us.

This was my boyfriend and I’s first time visiting Oceanside. The condo was very cute and clean. Bed was comfy and is within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier. Would book again!

There are two dryers on the property. One of them was broken and smelled strongly of mold. The other dryer destroyed 3 of my shirts- actually tore holes in them and ripped the tops of two tank tops so they're completely unusable - the inside of the door/lint trap doesn't fit properly, and snagged and ripped up the clothes. Either remove the washer/dryer as an amenity, or have them fixed. Sucks to be on vacation and have half your clothes ruined. Otherwise- Property was clean, check in and parking was easy, plenty of towels and blankets.

This was in the perfect spot and they even gave little recommendations where to go to eat. So good!!

The closeness of the beach and all the amazing local restaurants cannot be beat. The host had wonderful communication and was very accommodating. We loved it here and will be back!
