Stayed May 28, 2023The unit was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We loved the Whaler property. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The property is gorgeous and centrally located in the Ka’anapali Resort area. Loved the convenience of Whaler Village shops and restaurants nextdoor. The beach is incredible too! Thanks for helping to give us a perfect Maui vacation.

Stayed Nov 11, 2022The Whaler is an amazing location in Ka'anapali right in Whaler's Village. The unit was big enough for the two of us, with views of the beach and ocean. While there is a dedicated parking pass, underground parking was rarely available, though there is an overflow surface lot very close by. The host provided several amenities, plenty of towels, and the place was very clean. We would definitely stay here again the next time we go to Maui!

Stayed Aug 8, 2022We had a wonderful time in Kaanapali. Lot's of activities for adults and children. Our studio unit was adequate for two. The unit did not have any utensils for the barbaque which was listed as part of the resort fee.

Stayed Apr 21, 2022The Whaler has terrible amenities! When using the only crowded pool, they operate using towel cards ( 1 old crappy towel per card) If you don’t have your car then NO towel for you! I had to walk a half mile to grab this stupid towel card to get a towel for my 3 year old. Mom , Dad show up at the pool with our toddler with 2 cards given at check-in, No Towel for the baby ! Just terrible rude people at the pool shack! At $600 - $1,500 a night for the Whaler how about you make your guests feel comfortable?

Stayed Aug 26, 2021We came to the Whaler to surprise my brother (who stays a month each year at the Whaler) for his 70th BD. We have been to Maui several time buy never stayed at the Whaler. We loved #514. It was a spacious studio, well equipped and with a great view. We will definitely be back!
