You want waterfront resort living without the usual disappointment. This one delivers.

Sunrise On The Bay sits on Anna Maria Island in Runaway Bay. It is a ground floor two bedroom condo with direct views of the intracoastal waterway. Mornings start on the screened lanai with sunrise over the water. The Gulf sits across the street, so white sand is a short walk, not a commitment.

The space stays clean, simple, and comfortable. It sleeps six without forcing anyone into a tragic sleeping arrangement. The primary bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has two full beds. The living room includes a sleeper sofa. Two bathrooms keep things civilized.

The kitchen comes fully equipped. Full size refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, and microwave are all in place. You also get a coffee maker and Keurig, plus the usual blender, toaster, cookware, dishes, and drinkware. There is cable and smart TV, free WiFi, and an electronic door lock for key free entry.

Outside, the private screened lanai faces the water. Beach access is deeded and directly across the street. A beach cart, chairs, cooler, and a Cool Cabana tent are included, so you do not end up dragging gear like a pack mule. Linens and beach towels are provided.

Runaway Bay adds the resort layer. It has the largest solar heated swimming pool on Anna Maria Island, which matters more than you think once you see the alternatives. There are tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, shuffleboard, bocce ball, a clubhouse with WiFi, a fishing pier, and a kayak and canoe launch. Charcoal grills are spread across the property.

The location puts you in Bradenton Beach, across from the Gulf of Mexico. The free island trolley runs nearby, and you can walk to beaches and local spots without planning your day like a logistics manager.

Parking includes two assigned spaces. Gas golf carts only. Parking on the island is limited, so plan ahead instead of improvising later. The primary guest must be at least 25. A separate rental agreement follows booking.

Travel is straightforward. Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is about thirty minutes away. Tampa International Airport is about one hour.

Golf carts are not permitted on Runaway Bay grounds.

Tennis, Pickleball, and Fishing Pier, All Open
Enjoy freshly resurfaced tennis and pickleball courts with new fencing, ideal for casual games or friendly competition. The restored fishing and observation pier is also open, perfect for morning coffee, evening views, or casting a line with the kids.

Fitness Center, Temporarily Offline
Community upgrades are underway. The fitness center is being refreshed with updated equipment, improved layout, and a modern feel, with a target reopening in April.

Renovation Notice
A small number of nearby condos are finishing final improvements. Light daytime construction noise may occasionally be heard, but guests continue to enjoy peaceful stays and consistently rave about the relaxed island lifestyle that defines this community.
