Experience oceanfront bliss at this amazing condo in the heart of La Jolla Village. Walk across the street to the beach to swim, surf, or stroll along the cliffs. Plus, enjoy access to all the amenities at the La Jolla Recreation Center, which is mere steps away.
Admire the ocean views from the open living, dining, and kitchen areas. Stretch out on two sofas and watch your favorite TV shows as the chef prepares crowd-pleasing recipes in the well-equipped kitchen. Gather for mealtime at the elegant dining table overlooking the coastline.
There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, one full bathroom with a tub/shower combination, and a half bathroom. All beds and bathrooms are furnished with premiere linens for ultimate comfort. Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air-conditioning.
This property is located in an oceanfront complex with multiple vacation rentals. All spaces within the complex, such as the grill, patios, and laundry area, are communal.
Right next to The Museum of Contemporary Art, you'll be between Windansea and La Jolla Cove Beaches - with abundant sea life between. Take a short walk to La Jolla Village for fine dining, upscale shops, art galleries, museums, and spas. Or, explore world-class attractions like the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and Balboa Park - all within 20 minutes.

Very dirty/dingy. Heater was broken and needed at night. Not even enough linens for the party of four that I booked for. No extra blankets for the beds, just a sheet and very thin blanket. Kitchen was terrible and dishes were dirty. Management didn’t care to drop off more linens or fix the heater. They didn’t offer to accommodate for the inconveniences either. Pro: location is why this place rents out.
I could paste and copy the review from September..Pros: Location is fantastic.. Property Manager got back to me immediately when I asked for the code for laundry on Thanksgiving day .. Views: Outstanding The areas the housecleaner would have cleaned (toilet, tub, shower, sinks) were clean EXCEPT the floors, and ceiling fan The BEDS were extremely comfortable Cons: (1)There are 28 steps to the upstairs unit which wouldn't have been an issue had we not brought our dogs and had to take them out to go potty multiple times a day and in the middle of the night, however I was aware their were stairs (2) The view was fantastic, but we were unable to take pics because of how dirty they were (3) The screens were very dirty as well as holes in them causing mosquitos to fly in if you left them open (4) Baseboards, walls & furnance were dirty, they definitely needed repainted. The floors are old, need refinished because as stated in previous review if you walk barefooted, your feet would be black. As also stated in a previous review, the building itself has alot of things that are lacking maintenance.. One of the railings going to the unit, there is a chunk of concrete missing that it attaches to. Their were definitley dirty dishes (so we washed any that we used) There were tons of mixing bowls, blender, coffee maker traditional type, but not a full set of measuring cups or spoons, Luckily I read the reviews & brought our own.
Views of beach. 100 steps to sand and walking path. Comfortable beds. Half bath with no toilet a bit awkward. Well equipped w beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. Windows and screens need a cleaning to optimize the fantastic ocean views from living and dining rooms
This unit is one we had stayed in a couple of years ago and were very happy with. Unfortunately we were not as pleased this time. The unit is in need of a deep cleaning and general maintenance. The floors need refinishing, bathrooms need attention, and some rooms could use a coat of pain. Our initial impression was that it was clean but we came across utensils and pots that hadn't been washed. Our feet were black by the end of the day just from walking in the condo. The 2 sofas in the living room are tired and showing a lot of dirt. The kitchen is basically equipped but is now missing some essentials such as complete sets of measuring cups/spoons, flatware and sharp knives. Our other issue was with parking. The listing states there is street parking but most of it has a 2 hour limit during the day which can be a problem. One last concern was with the building in general; which may be beyond the control of the rental company. It badly needs some attention. There is crumbling concrete on the stairs and rusting railings. On the positive side the location was perfect for us, the beds were comfortable and the rental agency very responsive.
The beds were super comfy and we loved the location. It was a little confusing for checkin because we didn't know what apartment number and parking was a bit rough. But the number we had for help answered our questions. Thanks
Location was great could walk everywhere and lots of places to eat/drink
We stayed in this property for 6 days. The property is at a great location just opposite the shores of La Jolla and close to food, shopping and major attractions. However the house itself was not updated and the fact that we had just 1.5 bathrooms(I knew this while booking), was a major inconvenience. Our door code did not work when we landed and we were about to book a hotel at midnight when we landed. Fortunately we were able to get a vacasa agent after 20 mins on hold and reset the code. This property is not ideal for a family of 4 and could use major upgrades.
Really nice location no parking was tough.
This place is in a great location, good beaches just steps away, lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries are walkable distance. The house is in a quiet spot, it was nice for relaxation purposes, we slept well. We really liked our stay but wished that the kitchen was supplied with basic cooking stuff such as sugar, oil, salt, pepper, spices and so on. After all, we went through Airbnb because we wanted to use the kitchen but had to buy the basic stuff, even though we only stayed few days. Overall, it was a pleasant stay :-)
The property was in the perfect location. Steps from the ocean but walking distance to restaurants and shops. The area was quite in the evenings-which is great when you have kids. We were not able to use the wifi while we were there. It wasn't that big of a deal for our short stay (we just used our hotspot) but it was an inconvenience. They provided a sheet explaining how to troubleshoot the internet connection, which leads me to believe that it's an issue. I suggest they look into making that easier if they can. Also, we weren't provided the code for the laundry facilities. We called and got the code. Overall, pretty happy with our stay!
Such a great location, good bones, the second bathroom only had a shower, no toilet (!!) and it was so moldy that we wouldn't use it. Cheap construction issue that cannot be fixed by any amount of bleach. Refrigerator leaked on the floor, toilet seat lid was hanging on by a thread and really stressed my 4 year old out. Beds were okay, sofas and dining tables in need of a proper cleaning. All that aside, we loved the location and had a great time. Just know what you are getting - less comfortable apartment, excellent location! Wish the museum next door had been open to the public - it opened the day after we left. It looks amazing.
