The Space:

This luxury 1-bedroom condo that sleeps 4 people comfortably is located mere footsteps away from the Red Pine Gondola, your gateway to America’s second largest ski resort Canyons & Park City Mountain Resort, PLUS you have a private balcony that opens to a massive outdoor terrace overlooking the Canyons Village Center with bustling shops, restaurants, and entertainment.



The Sun Queen Suite is situated in the magnificent Sundial Lodge with its stunning amenities such as an impressive fitness center, free underground parking, a huge pool, 2 rooftop hot tubs, and friendly reception staff that help you check-in. Beat the crowds in winter and snag first tracks, and in summer, hang out on the terrace while watching the sun set with sundowners, and live music on the stage below.



But it will be hard to leave this cozy condo on a stormy winter’s day. On one side leading from the living area, you have the bedroom with a comfy queen bed, and the bathroom with its massive walk-in shower and soothing jacuzzi tub.



The living area features a queen sofa bed for two and opens to a private balcony with easy access to the terrace where you can peek down at the lines to the Red Pine Gondola before heading down. If you decide to wait out the crowds and whip up a quick breakfast, the fully equipped kitchen has you covered while the lobby has a discreet washer/dryer to handle your laundry needs. There is also a large fireplace in the living room to keep you warm while you sink into the big comfy couch with a blanket, book, or a beverage while pulling up your favorite streamer on TV.



But the special sauce of the Sun Queen Suite is its location. Saunter down the stairs to the lobby where the ski-valet hands you your gear. If you forgot something, no problem, right outside your door is a plethora of shops and equipment-rentals to arm you to the teeth for your Mountain adventure.



Even better, transportation almost anywhere in Park City is completely FREE! With Canyons Village Connect you can ride anywhere in Canyons Village totally FREE and with High Valley Transit you can take a van, shuttle or bus to most transit hubs, tourist attractions and Downtown Park City FREE with the app download!



And after conquering the great outdoors, starving and exhausted, there is nothing easier and better than stumbling into one of the many excellent restaurants for a delicious meal, because who has the energy to cook… it is vacation after all!



After dinner slide into one of 2 ROOFTOP HOT TUBS to sooth those sore muscles before drying off at the firepit before heading back to the Sun Queen Suite and calling it a night, where you happily drift off thinking to yourself, “this must be how Royalty feels…”

    Great rental. Unit was clean, stocked with everything you need and there was a lovely welcome basket full of snacks upon arrival. I also appreciate having staples like coffee and seasonings and things you don’t really want to have to buy for a short stay. The location is ideal for a ski trip as it is truly at the base of the main gondola and I could not have asked for anything more! Thank you!

    this is the second time I've stayed in the sundial. Last one was a similar sized room but wow what a difference in ownership. we walked in and were amazed at how bright and cheery it was. Welcome basket, nice little touches all over the place. Had a pantry with lots of useful stuff that we used a little bit and added some rice and potatoes to the supplies when we were done. As for the area property in general, the parking, the pools, patio, grills and exercise room are good but aged as this is an original for the area and probably 10-15 years old. no problem, just not the newest. And priced appropriately. The whole village area is walking distance and the transport is great as well. Just a perfect value by park city standards. But what makes this one so good is whats behind the door. The two places we stayed in sundial were night and day and this is the best of the best. The owners care and it shows.
