Our beautiful beachfront, 3 bedroom/2 bath, 8th floor condo in the 'B' building at the desirable Summer House complex is where you want to be. The B building is the one closest to the beach with unrestricted beach views. We invite you to be our guests.

While vacationing on the Emerald Coast for decades, we learned what we like and dislike about rental condos. We don’t like white/beige walls, wicker, bamboo furniture and cheap beach décor that owners often put in their units because it’s strictly an investment. In our condo you will find a warm, soothing, beachy wall color, comfortable furniture, and classy décor that lets you know you’re on vacation at the beach without screaming it at you. We’ve updated the entire unit. This is truly a second home and we welcome you to enjoy it as we do - recharging your batteries and making memories..

Summer House is 5 miles east of highway 59 and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The property is gated and has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, a sauna, hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball courts, putting green, handball, basketball court, playground, exercise room, free wi-fi, and grilling areas.

One of the best features of this complex is the private, massive balcony that overlooks the Gulf of America and beautiful white sand. This unit has unrestricted beach views in both east and west directions. There is so much space that it will accommodate everyone with plenty of room to spare, and yet it’s cozy so that you and your loved ones can enjoy majestic sunsets. And you'll want to spend a lot of time out on the balcony because we've furnished it with soft, cushioned furniture. No cheap plastic or uncomfortable furniture here! There is access to the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom.

The living room features all new comfortable furniture and a flat screen Samsung Smart TV.

The new coastal kitchen features all new Whirlpool appliances, quartz countertops, custom backsplash, and is fully-stocked with everything you will need to cook any kind of meal including a crockpot and Ninja grill. There is even a built-in ice maker so that you never run out of ice.

The master suite features a tiled floor, king-sized mattress, upscale furniture and bedding, a flat screen Samsung Smart TV, charging stations and black out curtains so that you can sleep in if you want to. The in suite bathroom has all been updated beautifully. It now has a tiled, walk-in shower with glass doors, new vanity with quartz countertops, and new lighting.

One of the guest bedrooms features a queen-sized bed and the other guest room has two queen beds. Both rooms have high thread count, super soft sheets, tiled floors, ceiling fans, plantation shutters, flat screen TVs, charging stations and share the guest bathroom. There is a pack-n-play under the bed.

The unit also has brand new GE full-sized high efficiency washer and dryer, clothes iron and ironing board.

Please keep in mind that Summer House is one of the nicest complexes on the beach and has every amenity. It is gated, extremely well maintained, and is beachfront. You will be able to find less expensive complexes, but they won't be the same.

PARKING: Parking passes for your stay can be purchased upon arrive at either the guard shack or the Summer House office across the street. You may purchase up to two passes at $51.50 each. A third vehicle may be park in the gravel lot across the street free of charge. The guard can help you with these details.

POLICIES: Absolutely no renters under age 25. Absolutely no smoking in the unit. No pets of any kind are allowed.

DAMAGE POLICY: A security deposit is managed by the software and returned once no damage is established.

HEADS UP: Pot smoking is still illegal in Alabama. Summer House has a very proactive policy concerning this. There are designated personnel that will be looking for violations 24/7. They DO NOT issue warnings. They confirm the location and immediately call the OBPD. It goes very down hill from there. If anyone in your party intends on smoking pot on resort property, please do not rent this unit. If you have a medical condition, you will need to get your THC in a manner other than smoking it while on property. No judgement. I just do not want you to have the altercation with the OBPD that will ensue while on your vacation.

All rental fees are due 30 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 30 days of check-in date, all fees are due at time of reservation. Cancellations 30 days before arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival will be refunded 1/2 of rental amount, and no cancellations later than 7 days before arrival.

    Totally a 5 star experience. Highly recommend. The owner was very informative leading up to the week long stay. We used some of his recommendations- highly recommend Cobalt. The condo provided everything by we needed with fully stocked kitchen. The patio was a perfect place for morning coffee and listening to the waves. The condominium was top notch. Wish I could give more stars to bring this up to a 5 star rating.

    Absolutely perfect for us and our kids and their friends. 8 of us and everyone had a bed to sleepIn :) Very clean, well stocked kitchen, loved the decor and balcony was just perfect with seating for everyone (which is so hard to find at any condo) Many late nights playing cards out there!Very short drive to play putt-putt golf, easy walk to souvenir shops and a quick drive to the Hangout. Also found a little hidden gem, The Cove Bar and Grill (live music, food was delicious -highly recommend the chicken and waffles and blacked chicken quesadillas, drinks were on point as well). Owners were very responsive before and during the trip. We would definitely come back here.

    The condo was wonderful! Everything was clean and nice! My only complaint is that the elevators weren’t working properly. We ended up having to carry our things down the stairs on the last day because both elevators were down. Other than that, it was perfect.

    Our visit to Summer House 805B was exactly as advertised. The newly remodeled unit was thoughtfully done and all home amenities were at our disposal. The owner Jared was extremely communicative and helpful. There was construction going on at site but he kept us in the know every step of the way so there were no surprises. He even gave us an extremely informative email of all dining options on OBA which was spot on and very helpful. Jared really went above and beyond. We’ll definitely head back to Summer House!!!

    The upscale condo was beautiful and well furnished. We enjoyed our meals on the extra-large balcony while admiring the fabulous ocean view. The owner went above and beyond to help make our vacation special.
