Summer Deal Oceanfront Maui Condo with Lanai and Resort Pool Access

Really loved Hale Kai. It is centrally located with a coffee shop, natural food market, Latin market and multiple food trucks. All within walking distance. There is a park just a few steps away for kids. The property is very clean. The manager takes great care to ensure the BBQs and pool are cleaned every morning. Loved that every evening at sunset the local owners go out and blow conch shells. Multiple whale sightings from the deck of the condo. But we were there in late March and they start heading out in April. The views are incredible. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Simple and classic design. The kitchen was fully stocked. Very clean! They did a great job of ensuring cleanliness. The communication from the property company was great. There was a discrepancy with the check out time and they were very accommodating. It does get pretty warm at night. No air conditioning. It’s a loud road but we found closing the bedroom windows kept the noise down. There were little tiny ants that the complex was dealing with. They were sort of a bother, but keep the trash out daily and don’t leave food out and it isn’t bad. Same with the little gnats. This is an island after all! Goes with the territory. The condo is very conscientious about keeping it spotless to reduce this situation. We had an incredible stay and will be back! Perfect condo!

The condo was exactly as pictured. Very clean and spacious inside, firm and comfortable bed. Beautiful views from the lanai of the ocean front and pool. The interior was perfect. Some reviews mentioned the street noise out front being a problem for sleeping, but it didn’t bother us at all. We slept like rocks! The cross breeze throughout the condo left a perfect temperature at night. The grounds were great, we utilized the BBQ one night for dinner and sunset at home and it was perfect. The full time resident neighbors in the complex were so friendly and helpful as well. Walking distance: Farmers Market. The BEST fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, açaí bowl, and loaded breakfast bagels made a perfect morning fuel for our adventures everyday. There’s a park next door to the complex with picnic tables you can enjoy eating and relaxing at as well. Oh and back to the condo, the small ocean front beach access was amazing. We saw and snorkeled with turtles out front every single day. There were 4 beach chairs available for use as well as two coolers (one square bag and a Trader Joe’s cooler bag). Condo also had 4 beach / pool towels. Thanks for a perfect stay, we will be back!

Great property I would highly recommend!

Our family stayed at 2 condos at this property. Our 4 kids (18+) stayed in this unit and loved it. It was big enough to accommodate them without feeling like they were on top of one another. The bed and pullout couch bed were comfortable and the unit was clean and well stocked to get things started. Perfect location and always a nice breeze throughout the unit especially at night. Check in/out was easy. We have already booked another stay in October.

Enjoyed the proximity to the waterfront and overlooking pool. Enjoyed that it was a smaller complex only 2 levels and mostly mature adult guests since my sister and I are in our 60's and did not want a big resort complex with alot of young families. It is an older complex that could use some updating and 1 bedroom unit was smaller than it appeared in photos. It was definitely sufficient but might consider a 2 bedroom if we stay there in the future. Bedroom faces the parking lot and street which was noisy at night and early morning with traffic going by. Would suggest a wall air conditioner so windows can be closed at night to be comfortable. The privacy drapes when closed do not allow airflow . Main living space was pleasant and allowed good cross breeze with ocean air and wonderful views . We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and enjoyed the evening conch shell serenade at sunset by the local residents. Friendly people and overall good vibe. Would recommend a better mattress on fold out sofa bed but it was doable . No real beach to put chairs out and lots of rocks making water access a bit treacherous but there is a beach park directly next to property and plenty of beautiful beaches close by. Loved whale watching and watching the sea turtles from our lanai! Will definitely consider staying at Hale Kai again.

The property was neat and clean. The view was amazing and the people that were staying in the complex were a ball. The sunset ritual was so much fun and a great way to meet people. We liked it so much we have already re-booked for next year, Same time same place.

The view is amazing from the balcony and fun to sit and whale watch for hours. We enjoyed walking to the local coffee shop, spa, and restaurants. The fish market was amazing. The condo does not have AC which wasn't a problem when we were there but could be in the hotter months. The bedroom is in the back of the condo by the parking lot and was a little loud at times. The windows are old school slatted glass and let a lot of sound in. Over all the condo was great and easy to use.
