Other things to note
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Read house rules before booking.
It was a bit difficult to get to with all the stairs, busy street, but once you got inside it was pleasing. Nice A/C, and full kitchen.
They house was amazing! Has games for the kids and was very beautiful! Only problem I had was the parking.. very confusing ??
The property was clean, location was great in relation to travel and near by food options, communication with the owner was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again!
Definitely will revisit!!! Great host, location and property!❤️❤️❤️
The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished- the landlord is helpful and the neighborhood has a nice park and lots of cafes and restaurants! Will definitely stay here again !
This was a great place to stay in Birmingham. Check in and check out we’re super easy. Place was great and in a great location.
Had a very good experience here. Everything g was as it said it would be and in a great location.
The location is great! It’s in a great neighborhood, very safe and comfortable. The route to get into the home however is weird. The reserved parking in the back was tight .It took a little while to figure it out where the entrance was but once we did it was a rough path. The stairs are uneven and hard to walk down, especially with luggage. The listing stated 2 restrooms but there was only one. That is the major reason for my rating. The one restroom was through one of the rooms which is not preferable when staying with multiple people. The doors are loud and squeaky so if someone is asleep in the room you will wake them every time going to the restroom. No real privacy. There were no wash cloths with the linens displayed so we went out and purchased some. But, at the end of our trip we discovered several wash clothes, additional towels, sheets, etc left in the dryer but not put out for our use. And when doing laundry the dryer was extremely loud and squeaky, annoying everyone in the house. But for a quick stay it wasn’t that bad. There were board games available to use so that was nice.
This is my pups and I fav place to call home when in Birmingham!!! The apartment is perfect for us and the host is my favorite!! You can guarantee that if Mr Ledbetter is hosting the listing is going to be immaculate and the best listing in the area!
Very loud, parking nightmare. I started looking for other accommodation within hours of being there. I paid for three days and was at property just a few hours. Costly mistake.
This property was in the perfect location for our event. It was very clean and Charles was very easy to contact and quickly answered questions. The only problem was walking from the parking lot to the apartment, it was not level but at age 70 it wasn’t much of a problem for me. I recommend this property.
We were performing at the Legacy Arena and this was perfect!
Overall we moved out stay! The place was clean and so cute. The beds were HEAVEN! So comfortable. Lots of extra linens and towels too. The only negatives we had were the key to the lockbox for check in wasn’t there but luckily they had two ways to enter so we just used the front door & it was easier since the ubers pulled right there. We did find some dog food pieces in the bottom bunk bed so we did swap the sheets on it but everything else was clean and it smelled fresh inside. I would absolutely stay here again, the location was perfect and the area felt so safe
Central location for going to the science center and zoo, convenient to restaurants and shopping. Quit place and comfortable.
READ MY REVIEW before deciding based on the # of stars. First, let me say overall, I liked the property, the location and neighborhood was great, and the manager was responsive. The kitchen was well-stocked, I liked the patio off the master bedroom, and loved the light and airy feeling of the den. But I wouldn't stay here again. Some of the things that keep me from giving a higher rating are fixable and some are just the nature of the property. First: access to the condo is just weird and awkward. Even though the instructions clearly say which steps to use (not the obvious ones in front of you), we arrived at night and just didn't see them hidden in the far unlit corner of the parking lot. The stairs are narrow and uneven. Not for someone needing assistance walking or unsteady on their feet. Second: it was not clear in the description that the only bathroom is NOT off the master bedroom, but through the second bedroom. If you are only using one room, that's fine. But we had to walk through the room at night where my daughter was staying to use the bathroom and ... Third: the doors all need WD-40 badly. The 2nd bedroom door squeaked a lot and swung open on its own. There was no quiet entry through that room into the bathroom. And no way to enter the bathroom and THEN turn the lights on because the switch is outside. So my kid pretty much woke up any time we had to come in. =( Fourth: the bathroom mats were dirty. Ick. Fifth: there was no dining table. Not a huge deal, but we ate take-out both nights and only two of us could fit on the couch at the coffee table. My husband had to eat with his food in his lap. Sixth: maybe it's because the condo is in a historic building built with less insulation, but if we heard every step the upstairs neighbor took. Eventually we tuned it out, but this isn't a particularly quiet place. For our needs and for the convenience I've experienced with other VRBOs, this one just had a few too many negatives. Hopefully some of these can be remedied because I think it has potential.
