Richmond, Virginia
The property is the entire second level of a 2 unit condominium, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, gourmet kitchen, dining room, large living area and solarium with breathtaking views of all that Monument Avenue has to offer. 2,500 sf of elegantly decorated space with gorgeous chandeliers throughout and huge marble master bath. Includes access to charming outdoor space in front courtyard and rear porch with grill. Restaurants and bars and family-friendly activities including museums are within easy walking distance. Easy access to all areas of metro RVA. Good for couples, business travelers and families (with kids).
Fabulous location, easy access and plenty of keys made available to our group, excellent communication with host. Beds were pretty comfortable, bathrooms were large and updated. Living area could use larger, more comfortable furniture for hanging out. A nice stay visiting nearby family for Thanksgiving.
Laura Lee’ place was great, everything you would want in a VRBO. Comfy beds, nice towels and bed linens. Great water pressure in the showers, water gets nice and hot! Fully stocked kitchen and above all else, CLEAN!! Place was spotless and well care for, will be back!
Our stay in Richmond was wonderful! This 2nd story rental is wonderful! We each had a bedroom with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were updated, and the towels great quality! The kitchen was very well equipped and so easy to cook in! The flat was beautifully decorated! On top of all this, the location is great!! We went to 3, within walking distance, restaurants which was so nice to be able to walk in a historical neighborhood. We were able to park our car in front of the rental. We used Uber several times and that was very convenient.
We enjoyed our stay. Great location!!
Out of town came to visit and this vrbo could not have been more perfect. The apartment was decorated beautifully and there was lots of room for us to visit and chat in the same room. It was within walking distance of the St. Benedict Oktoberfest and we were able to walk to City Diner for breakfast. Laura Lee was quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating. I highly recommend.
We were in town for a family wedding. This is a charming, comfortable, and spacious property. My husband and I and our adult son used the two bedrooms with a shared bath (great showerheads!) and my sister-in-law and her husband used the ensuite bedroom. The big dining room table made a great gathering place, but there was enough room to get off by oneself, too. I loved the little balcony off the kitchen in the morning.
The property was absolutely amazing!
Lovely home and great location. Just need to know it is a second-floor unit which was fine for the younger of us, but difficult for my 85-year-old mother to navigate the stairs. I may not have read closely enough. Can't say enough about the surroundings and location. It was perfect for stay for a Richmond wedding.
We had a wonderful time visiting Richmond, VA. The location of this property could not be any better for exploring the amazing neighborhoods and food scene of Richmond.
Our family stayed at this property the week of our son’s wedding in Richmond. It was everything we could have wanted! The location was perfect and we were able to walk to several restaurants in the area. The floor plan work well for all of us and allowed space to entertain small groups of visitors. The kitchen was well stocked, I would definitely recommend.
The place was perfect to share great memories with my family. It was comfortable and very spacious. Yhe location was beyond perfect !! We could walk everywhere. I will be back to enjoy Richmond.
Excellent location. In town for daughter's commencement. Walked to dinner, museum. Parking was abundant on the side street
This trip completely lived up to all the amazing reviews. The property was charming, well appointed, and cozy. We especially loved the sun room, which had great views of Monument St. So many great restaurants and destinations within short walking distance. Highly recommended.
Lovely experience.
Great and easy experience all the way
It was perfect for two families. Lots of space.
Great space to sleep our 6 adults. Huge bathrooms and fun decor. The only issue we ran into was parking our car for the marathon. We parked close to the race and then couldn't get back to the house bc of road closures. We eventually were able to park a few blocks away so not a huge deal overall. Just good to know!
Really enjoyed the house, especially the wonderful beds and the NBA channel access!
This home had all of the historic details we love and many updates as well. The kitchen and bathrooms were lovely and luxurious. We enjoyed walks on Monument Avenue and a family wedding right across the street. Our interactions with the host were friendly. The outdoor patio was great for wine and cheese in the evening! It was truly one of our best experiences.
We really enjoyed staying in the flat! Great location close to museums and Laura was super responsive to any questions that came up. Will return for sure!
Central location! to Downtown, Shockoe Slip, Church Hill, South side (Family/church), Short Pump (family/shopping) and Carytown!! Great vibe. Eclectic. Happy memories - we had our wedding reception diagonally across Monument Ave 40 yrs ago! Upgraded bathrooms impressive! Sunroom, back porch, entry common space provided privacy for workspace and conversation. Highly recommend.
Lovely place, location, etc. Family was able to gather and enjoy Dad/Grandpa's 80th birthday. Thank you!
We stayed here for a 3 day weekend to run the Monument 10K race. Laura Lee communicated on a timely manner and everything was exactly as described. I would recommend to a friend.
