Smell of trash throughout property and overall cleanliness outside in hallways and of outside of building-needs updated and cleaned

When we first opened the door the appearance was very nice. However, the dishes, pots and pans were not useable. They were filthy with baked on grime. The coffe cups looked as if someone rinsed and put back on rack. The toaster oven was not clean. The washer and dryer were full of rust and dirt. Needless to say we didn't cook or even use the coffee pot during our whole stay. The furniture was very used and should be replaced. The bedroom up front near the hallway didn't have a curtain only a blind that allowed bright light to shine through the whole night. Not one of the codes for the doors or amenities worked. With that being said, the view from the 19th floor was simply amazing, the sound of the ocean was wonderful.

Beautiful view from both living area, and masterbed room. Would love to stay there many more times, definitely didn't want to leave!!!!!

Condo floors were dirty. We had to wear our shoes. The queen bed was wore out, and we saw a roach on the cannot in the kitchen.

This property is just okay. Nothing too bad but nothing really that great either. The sheer curtains that cover the glass facing the gulf need a good clean. The elevators are really slow and that causes a lot of issues getting to the 19th floor. The property manager was easy to deal with and was quick to respond.

Nice area with beautiful view of Gulf of America. Needed hotel drapery for sleeping in. Sterling Reef was down to one elevator for the first 2 days of our stay which lead to a 10 to 15 minute wait to get on the el.

Elevators where ok till Friday the day before we checked out one was down all day we stayed on the 19th floor made it very difficult to load luggage and forget about smoking in the smoking section cant get to it with Elevators being down and its 100 fine if ypu smoke on balcony

Amazing views very clean was as pictured wrong codes given for beach access and bathroom by the pool had difficulty with parking on arrival as we didn’t bring the car we registered although they told us many people rented cars so it didn’t matter vouch that made into a bed needs a new mattress had to speak with housekeeping to get correct codes overall good would stay here again

We had a great time staying at this property. Close to beach, nice pool, nice room. People that worked there were friendly and helpful. Great time all around for family.

The penthouse view is definitely worth it!!!

The property was as described. We were very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is to have some cards or games in the room for those rainy days.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let me say, I have been staying at Sterling Reef for several years. This by far has been my least favorite condo. The coffee table in the living room had a missing piece of glass and it was replaced with a piece of wood. There was a piece missing on the kitchen faucet. The sink in the master bath was very slow to drain. As described, the condo can accommodate six people, however, there is not enough seating in the living room to accommodate six comfortably. There are some pros as well. The dryer works great and there were excellent views from the balcony. As stated previously I have stayed at Sterling Reef, in my opinion this property is steadily declining. Every other condo is managed by a different property management company. It is hard for items to stay consistent.

Only minor complaints are, both mattresses on the beds would probably be better if replaced. Also, the lack of less opaque, or blackout curtains in the main bedroom meant at dawn the guests in that room were up. The lack of included beach chairs was something I had inquired about before hand, so a quick Wal Mart trip later 4 chairs at $16 a piece solved that problem.The location seemed to be centralized and we found it easy to get to the places we wanted to go.Beach was awesome. Spacious, clean, and powder sand. We are already talking on making a return trip next year!

Nice place. Quiet and clean. Beautiful views of the ocean. Pool is nice as well. Parking always available. Close to many restaurants and bars, good location. Would have liked to check in early but not possible, and the elevators are very slow so if you need to be somewhere keep this in mind. Coffee table in picture was broken and had plywood on it, and they could use a new toaster. But all in all we would stay there again.

Beautiful ocean views! Beds are super soft and kinda sag so we prefer a harder mattress but great if you like the softness. Kitchen skillet and pots need updated. Stove didnt work great but we made it work. Even on the top floor there needs to be privacy curtains in the bedroom. Overall we had a nice stay. We loved the location and parking on the same side as condo.

My only real complaints are that the pull out couch is like sleeping on bare springs. My biggest complaint is that the master bedroom doesn’t really have any privacy. The door won’t lock and the sheer curtains let anyone on the balcony see into the bedroom at anytime.
