Studio Condo On the Water! Walkout to the Crystal River, steps from Lk Michigan

Great location, very clean room. Perfect for a single traveler who wants to be close to the lake and all that Glen Arbor has to offer. Kitchen was small but well stocked. Bed was comfortable. Good communication with owner. Thank you!

This property is in an amazing location on the shores of Lake Michigan. It is as described. It is a studio room and is very nicely appointed. The building and the unit are a bit old and showing their age. But from the VRBO advertisement we assume that was the case. It is as we expected. It was a very nice place for us to stay for a couple of days and enjoy Lake Michigan and the sleeping Bear dunes area

The location is great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the refrigerator froze our fruits and vegetables and we had to throw them all out. The walls and ceiling are paper thin and so noise from adjoining condos was a problem. We ended up keeping the ac fan running constantly, which helped us sleep at night. The are not a lot of amenities. No soap in the shower, no Kleenexes, no tea … For the price, there could be more thought for renters’ comfort.

The unit was nicely decorated and updated. The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with Karen was easy and very prompt. Thank you for hosting.

Wonderful location right on Lake Michigan and convenient for visiting Sleeping Bear. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the beach, as well as spending evenings on the beach reading. Easy check in and check out process. Host is kind and helpful.

My son and I stayed for a week and this was the most perfect place for us. It is decorated perfectly. The bed was more than comfortable. Great amenities and more than enough room for two people. The kitchen was great and with the big closet in the bathroom we had ample storage. Being on the bottom floor our patio was a walkout right to Crystal Lake (including a drop in for our blow up kayak) and just steps from a very quiet and private part of Lake Michigan. You can see the spectacular sunsets every night a minute from the door. We cannot recommend this place enough. The host was so communicative and friendly and made check-in easy and stress free. Price was on point with basically being beach front. It is in my opinion one of the best locations at the resort because of its proximity to the river and beach/lake. We will definitely look to stay here again. We liked it so much we wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately (and not surprisingly) it was already booked. Parking was convenient and we always had a spot right in front our building. Very quiet and exclusive feel to the resort. We can't thank our host enough and can't wait to get back there!

Small but mighty - the room is small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The property was what the owner described. Problems from even before we walked in the door, we had to step over three giant fans blowing right out side the unit for an apparent flood. This was loud and smelled terrible. Inside we needed to use the refrigerator, it had a huge chuck of ice and standing water with a thin layer of ice on the bottom. I needed to clean this before any food could have gone into it, and it continued to drip water throughout our stayWe ended up leaving a day early for the issues stated.

While we were there, there was a terrible storm, resulting in the condo flooding (1/2 inch of standing water on the floors). The host initially responded, asking a follow up question when I told her of the flooding but then did not respond again for another 5-6 hours regarding my simple request of getting more towels to help soak up the water. The condo then lost power and again, very little responsiveness from the host. She eventually had the housekeeper come and help us clean up the water by early evening (9 hours after being notified), however, the housekeeper entered the condo without our knowledge (while we were gone) and then once more when I was getting out of the shower without warning. Due to the power being out for the entire day and projected not to come back on until morning, we ended up having to leave a night early. I messaged the host once more requesting a refund for the night we were unable to stay due to the flooding and power outage, in which she has never responded. The condo itself is in a perfect location with very easy access to the beach. We enjoyed that is a walk out and we were easily able to use our paddle boards in the river outside the condo. The condo is overall as described, small but has all you need. I am, however, incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the host’s lack of responsiveness and concern for the guests. I would not rent from this host again but would stay in this general location.

The Sleeping Bear Dunes area is a wonderful place to visit, especially during Autumn. This condo is centrally located for activities such as hiking, fishing, sightseeing and shopping. We really enjoyed having a stream just steps from the condo, and a footbridge to the beach and Lake Michigan. We would stay here again.

My husband surprised me with a weekend here. It was lovely! Quiet, peaceful and we loved exploring the area. The condo was very cosy and we loved direct access to the back instead of a balcony. Took us a bit to discover the closet in the bathroom though ;) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We do enjoyed our stay…perfect location…spectacular view of river and lake. So peaceful and quiet. Loved the decor…super neat and easy to get to. We will definitely want to visit again next summer! Attention to detail very much appreciated!!!

Our stay was awesome, loved the location, as we saw that the reviews stated fridge froze other people’s food , with enough people being the attention , for over 300.00 a night , by now this problem should have been solved, also I think providing a few beach towels would not hurt, also we purchased food to grill specifically and the grill was broken, overall I think for the price of the stay , these things do not cost that much to resolve any

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. It was cute, clean, and the beach access so close to the back door was amazing. The condo had everything we needed for our purposes (out hiking and biking and at the beach most of the time). The resort property and food was very nice and the location was close to town and the national lake shore, which is what we came for. I would love to stay here again!

The location and convenience was excellent. It was well equipped, and very clean. The owner was extremely responsive and flexible. I would stay here again if I came back to the area.

The host was very communicative and an accommodating from the start of my trip and even sent a wonderful packet of recommendations. The apartment is beautifully decorated and just steps from the lake. Would definitely stay again!
