This condo is ideally situated at the base of Snowmass Mountain, right next to the Base Village and steps to the property hot tub area. With hiking and biking trails right out the back door, you can spend your days in the fresh air. Relax in the cozy cabin feel of this studio in front of the wood burning fireplace while enjoying the great view. It is the ultimate in mountain accommodations and a great Snowmass value any time of year!



A wide open ski trail leads right to the back door of the condo! This access makes our condo a great option for every level skier or non-skier. **Ski access across may be limited due to snow conditions in early and late ski season.



With 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room, there is plenty of room for a group of friends or a small family to stay. The beds and living room are separated by an accordion door. The full kitchen and breakfast bar are perfect for enjoying meals together at home after a day on the mountain. If you prefer to dine out, many great restaurants are located in the Base Village for you to chose from during your stay.



The outdoor pool and hot tub are available in the summer and winter months and are just outside your patio. Your patio offers a great spot to relax while grilling some burgers for dinner or with a cup of coffee enjoying the morning sunshine. The Lichenhearth is a gem of a property in Snowmass. The location, amenities, free covered parking, full kitchen and wood burning fireplace make it an ideal choice when coming to vacation in Snowmass.



Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8 in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots in the winter season. Additional parking is free in the summer.

All iTrip Aspen Snowmass properties have WIFI and all rentals are stocked with professionally laundered linens and towels and a starter supply of the following: coffee, tea, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, sponge, dish detergent and soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soaps. If your home has a wood burning fireplace we provide a starter supply of wood. Additional stock of these items are available for purchase at the local grocery stores.

    We haven’t been this close to the lifts, EVER. This was truly the most convenient location on a mountain we have ever seen. We flew in, shuttled to the base village condo, and walked everywhere, including a short 30 second walk to the village express lift every morning to ski. Back patio pictures are true to scale.

    Location was the best I’ve ever stayed in. Steps away from the Village express lift, the Skittle tram to the mall, the restaurant and gondolas. Ski in ski out was crucial for lunch breaks and staying out longer. Would stay here again. The strip folks were very welcoming and responsive the whole time. Very good experience all around. More importantly, these mountains are extremely special and we should do everything in our power to respect and protect them.

    We just finished a wonderful stay at Lichenhearth 26 in Snowmass and couldn’t be happier with our choice. While the complex itself is a bit older, don't let that deter you—the unit was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for our group of four.The LocationThe convenience factor here is a 10/10.• True Ski-in/Ski-out: You can literally ski right up to the back patio.• Proximity: It’s a mere one-minute walk to the Base Village lifts and the Sky Cab (Skittles) to the Village Mall.• Essentials: A quick 10-minute walk gets you to the market for supplies.The ExperienceThe communication leading up to our visit was excellent. We did have a minor hiccup where our entry code didn't work upon arrival, but it was addressed immediately by both the staff and the owners, which we really appreciated.A quick tip for future guests: The unit holds heat very well! We were warned it can run a bit hot with the heat on, so we kept it off for the duration of our stay and were perfectly comfortable.Value ComparisonWe stayed at the Viceroy last year, and while that was a lovely 5-star hotel experience, we actually preferred Lichenhearth. You trade the bar, restaurant, and ski valet for more living space and better mountain access. For the significant cost savings and the added convenience, it is well worth the trade-off.We would absolutely stay here again!

    The apartment is ski-in, but not ski-out. You must walk 15 minutes to reach the lift or gondola. You can ski directly to your balcony at the end. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. Missing items included: • An electric water kettle, • Bathrobes, • Cabinet doors that stay closed (locks are broken), and • Higher quality toilet paper. Summary: Still 5 stars!

    My husband and our 2 friends stayed at the Lichenhearth for a short week and it was great! Perfect location in walking distance to base village and the slopes. As close to ski and and ski out as you can get for an affordable price. Property was very clean and comfortable for 4 guests. We will definitely stay again! iTrip managed our rental and they were great! Very communicative in pre-arrival and during our stay.

    The property is next to the Skittles gondola and restaurants. It was clean and had extra pillows and linens, a full supply of bath products, and plenty of starter stuff in the kitchen. There wasn't anything it was missing! It is a bit dated but that's just asthetic. It is a very quiet property and I enjoyed my stay!

    My daughter is working in Aspen for the summer and we came to surprise her for her birthday. It was a wonderful visit and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was really nice, comfortable, roomy, beautiful location and the checkin/checkout process was seamless. I'd definitely stay again!
