The beach is close. The host did everything asked of them. The property worked for us.

The place was okay. It was great in that you can bring your dog. Overall the place was nice but does only have window units for ac and one bedroom has no unit just has to rely on the living room ac to get cool. Dishes in the cupboard weren’t clean and looked to be just thrown in there so we went ahead and washed them to be safe. Host should make sure there is hand soap there and toilet paper had to go buy our own. If the person cleaning the place could just double check these things guest will have a better experience. Just some helpful advice!

Is an old building but is kept in good condition. Looks just like the pictures, clean and comfortable. Equipped with all needed for a good vacation. The only downside is that I would like to have a grill on the deck. Steps from the beach, and excellent communication with manager. Good deal, I would recommend!

Older but well cared for condo! This was our second year in this same unit. Very clean, and have never seen a single bug! Love that they allow dogs. They could update the double bed mattress in the smaller bedroom to make it more comfortable, however, it would never stop us from staying there!! Convenient to everything.

We loved being able to just walk over the berm and onto the beach. Ate meals on the deck just outside the unit and we were amazed at how great the pots and pans were for a rental.

I came to stay with my 16 son for 4 nights and just needed a casual place on the beach with a say parking. Older building but very clean and didn’t hear any neighbors around us. I love the North Myrtle Beach location and reasonable rates for the full Summer season. Comfortable beds and furniture. I would stay again

It was perfect!!!! Easy parking, out the door and onto the beach. Plenty of towels and wash clothes, Beds were great. The sitting area was great. Perfect place to stay with your dog. It was a very dog friendly community of people staying. Everyone was very nice and friendly which made it an extra special stay. I can’t say enough about it. Exceeded my expectations

Couple safety issues, safety chain on door & batteries in smoke detectors. All else wonderful.

We loved our stay. The property is on the beach but is located in a quieter area. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. We experienced car issues while we were there. The owner responded immediately to my inquiry regarding the need for an additional day. Our stay couldn’t have been better.

All units at The Waves are dog friendly. If you haven't taken your pup to beach areas before, watch out for the burs that are common in the grass. As others wrote, parking is tight. Plan on backing out into the street. In October this wasn't a problem. It's an older building that has been maintained pretty well. You can't beat the proximity to the beach!! There is an outside shower area on the deck which is very helpful. The host was responsive, friendly and easy to work with. The overall cleanliness of the unit was very good. The kitchen was well stocked with dished, glasses, cookware, etc. It is a small kitchen with a smaller fridge, sink, stove but manageable with only two people. This unit has AC in the front and the back rooms with ceiling fans in those rooms, (living room, and bedroom with king bed). There is a good size oscillating fan in the 2nd bedroom. There are two sections of wall open up at the ceiling level between the living room and the bedroom with 2 beds, and there is a louvered door, that opens and closes, replacing a section of wall from the king bed bedroom into the hall (I guess to allow for air flow). Also, that bedroom door is louvered. Depending on the configuration of travelers, this might matter. A screen door to the deck would be a nice addition. We like hearing the waves but the flies this particular week were awful so we couldn't keep the door open. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Got there looked like an old beach house and if it had been clean I wouldn’t have been so bad but it was a joke. It was so dirty the floors and everything the smell was horrible. It smelled like sewage.

Nice older property and oceanfront! Felt comfortable and safe and loved the location! Close to activities and restaurants without being overcrowded. Some upgrades done and appreciated! Loved the fenced in deck and appreciated the ability to bring our small dog! Very friendly and attentive owner/contacts! Would definitely stay there again!

Unit was just as advertised. Building is older but unit is nice, well stocked and very comfortable! A short walk over the dune to the beach, directly from front deck. Only down side is parking lot is small but we backed in to the lot which made it easier to get out. Owner has no control over parking lot size. We had one small issue with unit and owner contacted me within an hour of leaving the message. She had someone come out to repair the issue, Great service!

We enjoyed our stay and my friend was able to bring her dog with her. Oceanfront and dog friendly is a great combo.

Very clean, comfortable beds, all needed items supplied, beautiful deck for sunning or sitting and listening to the ocean. Parking lot is tight; we drove a Yukon and it was TIGHT getting out when the lot was full.
