St. Pete Beach, formerly known as St. Petersburg Beach, has a wide variety of accommodations ranging from large scale resorts to the classic Florida mom and pop vintage motels that bring back memories of old Florida. The city was incorporated in 1957 with the consolidation of the Towns of Pass-a-Grille, Don CeSar, Belle Vista, St. Petersburg Beach and unincorporated Pinellas County to become the “City of St. Petersburg Beach.” In 1994, the citizens voted to shorten the name to “St. Pete Beach” to lessen the confusion with the City of St. Petersburg, located on the mainland to the east.
The City of St. Pete Beach is located just off the Pinellas County mainland of Saint Petersburg, just south of Treasure Island, 20 miles from Clearwater Beach and within 30 miles of both St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Tampa International Airport. .
Condo was everything that our family needed. It was clean and in great condition. The pool is right outside the patio which was very nice. It's also close to the beaches and restaurants of St Pete Beach. Would stay again for next vacation.
My stay was great. This condo Was ultra clean with very nice furnishings. The living room and bedroom view of the pond and grassy areas was calming and restive. I highly recommend this condo.
Great location and service
The location and size was wonderful. Check in and out was easy. Very close to beach and easy access to the pool. The cleaning staff was still in the condo when we arrived at 4:15 (check in was after 4). I was disappointed with that because I assumed during a pandemic the place would have been empty for at least a few hours before. But I understand things can happen. When we went in, I wiped off all the normal places (again, pandemic) like light switches and remotes. The wipes were filthy after I did that. And under the beds and couches (you can easily see this because the floor is tile, which I loved), there was lots of dust and dirt. Other than that the place was very convenient to get to and from the beach and close to my parents' who own in the building over. I would just maybe reconsider the cleaning service or ask them to hit some of the more common touch points.
Perfect place to spend Thanksgiving week while we visited family in South Pasadena! Clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient location. Beautiful pool & hot tub right near the unit. We will definitely be back!
We had a beautiful, relaxing vacation. The pool was only a few steps away from the back door of our condo and the views we're breathtaking. We saw a colorful, sun-filled sky with a palm tree back ground every morning! We felt at home and very safe staying in Isla Del Sol. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. The condo itself is spacious, nicely decorated and has all the accommodations one could ask for! We will definitely be back next year!
This is great vacation unit. Close to pool and beach!. Unit is clean and comfortable. Can't wait to return.
As you know these are very strange times we are living through. So travel was not without a certain level of stress, but time spent in Vista Verde is always special. The people at Sandy Beach are delightful to deal with, Cristal in particular. I left a week early due to circumstances and was treated very fairly.
Condo was just as described and we found it spotless when we arrived. With water views on both sides of the condo we enjoyed coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the afternoon. Great month!
