Steps to the chair lifts and gondola! Very nice amenities including the hot tub in the facility. Would definitely stay again!
Clean and so easy to get to the slopes!
Suzann was an amazing host. She is very responsive to all questions we had, and she does her best to resolve them as quickly as possible. She also accommodated us for early check in and late check out, which was extremely helpful given the two young kids we have. The condo is very conveniently located. It has be a fantastic stay for us. Thank you!
very nice condo in great location!
The condo was in the perfect spot, easy to access and a great size for our group. Overall I recommend staying here, the only issue was some of the towels seemed dirty or they need to be replaced with new ones.
Perfect for the two of us. Fit our needs and the area we like when at Lake Tahoe. Amazing water pressure in the shower, small air conditioner really only cooled the living room area so happy there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom.
Great time! Underground parking lot was closed and little info re: options available. Laundry is not on the same floor, as stated and is costly. Apartment is great for a 5 night stay. Suzann is an excellent host and very communicative. Convenient to the village. Well equipped
The obvious benefit of this listing is the instant access to Palisades ski lifts and village. The space is small, but it was enough for a family of four with a four year old and seven year old. Being so close to home relieved a lot of pressure/stress with the kiddos and allowed a lot of teaching time with the kids (learning to ski) with the ability to return back to the condo if needed. Every evening the four of us enjoyed the hot tub on the first floor. The underground parking space and our own included ski lockers added to the convenience story as well. The pull out sofa bed was fine for our kids, but not the most comfortable for adults. The kitchen is fine, but be sure to bring everything you need because if there aren't any staples/supplies in the cupboard. There is traditional live TV available, however, there are no smart TV apps like Netflix or Disney+, so if that's important to you, bring your own streaming device. Anyway, Suzanne and co were very responsive and available for any questions I had and the overall experience was enjoyable.
We enjoyed some incredible spring skiing.
I had a great spring skiing weekend here and thought the property was very well maintained and the location was outstanding -- right in the middle of the village, just steps away from the lifts, yet extremely quiet. Two of my favorite nearby spots were Alice's Market (has everything you need) and Coffeebar, which has outstanding coffee and breakfast items. Thank you Suzann and Jim, would love to come back!
It's really nice to stay in the village.
Perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway.
Overall a great stay, only disappointing part was the amenities were either at capacity and difficult to get in or they had parts of them closed due to maintenance issues. Other than that, it was a good time.
My husband and I stayed in the condo for a week while skiing Palisades. The location couldn't be better. The village area was right out our door and the lifts were a short walk away. The condo was a little dated (not an issue), but very clean. I would recommend a new set of sheets as the bottom sheet is not a fitted sheet and wouldn't stay on with my tossing and turning. It would also be nice to get an updated coffee maker and maybe add some hooks on the wall to hang some items (hats, scarves, etc) Overall a great stay and I would stay again.
The communication prior to the stay was fine; however, upon early arrival, the condo wasn't cleaned. Previously, I asked owner if we could do early check-in, she said depends on cleaners & would keep us posted. We never got an update. We asked if we could leave our bags until 4pm (check-in) Cleaners walked in shortly after we arrived; they approved. The owner responded later, and apologized for the delay since she was in Austria, and there was a time change. She said do not contact me please, I will be sleeping, & gave us the number of the cleaner service owner, Juan. We returned, the bed was made, clean towels, etc. Basic service. The place is dated & overall dirty. The carpet was sticky, large cracks in the wall; it was stained from what looked like spills. No fitted sheet, after use; revealed a stained mattress, the pillows were also stained. The top sheet had a hole in it. There was a 2 liter soda bottle filled w/ with brown substance by the patio. The patio was dirty & furniture were just rod iron, so uncomfortable w/o cushions. Halfway through our stay we accidentally locked lock ourselves out. We texted Juan & emailed owner, but no answer. The owner previously said that the front desk didn't manage or own the property, so contact her for all issues. We didn't hear back from Juan or her for about 30 minutes; I decided to call Juan. The number wasn't in service. She was still overseas, so w/ time change was sleeping. The front desk let us know that they aren't authorized to let us in since we didn't book through them. They had contacted both homeowner & Juan to request permission to let us in, but no luck. After a couple hours had passed without an answer. We disclosed that we had medical conditions & couldn't wait for a response; they verified our identities, and made an exception to let us in. The front desk handled it well & made our trip! We were very grateful for them responding like true professionals! We later hear back from owner, and she said that she just saw our message as she was sleeping, & told us that her husband would call us. I let her know that we already got into the unit. The husband called anyway. Owner apologized for not responding sooner, but was we were able to get in. Annoyed overall; if location wasn't so prime, it would have been unbearable. We didn't initially inform owner, since we paid in full. We have since notified her and provided photos.
The location was outstanding- just a block from the main lifts! The condo was smallish but worked for three adults- Hope to stay again!
This condo is in a great location with views up the mountain and on the outside of the Village (so no noise from restaurants and late night revelers). Floor plan is good and it's spacious, with a well-supplied kitchen. Minor downsides: no internet TV; the furniture is a little dated & worn; and dining room table was not very clean. But those issues are overshadowed by the location and layout.
We had a great time for skiing at Olympic Valley
This apartment was great for our family of 3. The location cannot be beat, and our hosts were gracious, thoughtful, and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
Love the location and amenities. Great property managers with excellent communication. We’ll be back (yet again).
We wanted a place where we could park & never leave. This was it! We had an easy walk from the ski storage locker to the multiple ski lift options. After skiing, restaurants & shops were literally steps away as we were located in the middle of the village. Communications & directions from Suzann, the owner, was excellent from minutes after booking to checking out. We would definitely stay here again!
