Splash 906W - Beachfront, Pools, Hot Tub, Waterpark, Lazy River, Free Activities

The condo was adequate. Nice balcony. Seemed smaller than it appeared online. I would say the furnishings in the living area were sparse, a love seat and a chair, there weren’t many of us staying but it never seemed to have enough space to sit, unless you want to sit at the kitchen table which seemed overly large for the space. Had to tighten the globe on the ceiling fan because it looked like someone had unscrewed it just enough to stay until it eventually fell from the fan movement. It was barely on. The couch and chair had the outer layer of vinyl peeling off. Beds were great, clean linens. Very few utensils and cups or bowls. One tp, one laundry detergent, one dish washer pod….. I get that they’re not responsible for cleaning our clothes and dishes, and that if they’re were more it could be taken with previous guest for whatever reason, but ….. it seems cheap and very much I don’t care about my guests. The “free activities” would have been nice, however the email with booking details didn’t come until a few days before our arrival and everything was booked already. I’m sure it’s partly because it was a holiday weekend and a semi-late booking, but would be better to send it out earlier. The resort has public beach access with pedestrian crossing right between the east and west towers. The grounds and common areas were not great, needs repairs and better cleaning, it’s definitely showing its age. The elevators were the worst part. We spent almost an hour waiting on one.

NICE PLACE, WIFI NO GOOD

This was a last minute, quick trip. We booked one day and checked in two days later. Booking easy, check-in easy. Didn’t have linens for the pull out sofa, sent an email and was brought some within an hour. I also would’ve liked to have had a few throw rugs for the front door and near the balcony to wipe feet off. Toilet in main bathroom needs a new flapper or something. Room floors could’ve been a little cleaner when we arrived. Too big, not enough elevators. I didn’t like that you have to share beach access with the public. It was too crowded for our liking. Also, no ramp so if you have a wagon or stroller, must have help down the steps. Overall a nice place, but won’t be back.

The unit was barely cleaned. Walls were stained, fridge was rusted and freezer didn't work well, while the refrigerator side was freezing our food. The master bed was sunk in at the middle so we were rolling into one another all night. The pics used for unit 906 West must be from when it was new! The furniture was stained. Other reviews shows owner has known of these problems for awhile but not fixed. We Won't use this unit again. Splash resort shouldn't let the owners just let their condos go. It gives them a bad name. Overall splash resort is a great spot to stay they just need to make owners do up keep on properties. Would love to submit real pics of unit 906W

Beautiful property, beautiful condo! So spacious and airy. I believe the master bath was as big as a bedroom.. The extra large balcony from living room to bedroom was spectacular! The view was nothing short of amazing! With all the uncertainty of Covid19 thank you for making this vacation perfect!

Refrigerator has rust all over it. Did not feel it was sanitized enough so did it myself before anyone else was allowed in. No covid-19 precautions by most of the staff or other occupants.

VRBO makes it easy and is always accurate. Unit was nice and clean, it was our 6th year in a row to that the grandkids so Splash. All good except the slow elevators. We rented 3 units. See you next year.

This room was terrible! The couch was FILTHY! There were rips and tears in the cushion and the couch is black from filth! We wouldnt even sit on it. The coffee table had burn marks on it. The remote was covered in gunk! The Kitchen chair covers were disgusting! There was big chunks of hair in the master bathroom floor! The master bedroom comforter had stains on it! The chair in the MB was peeling and looked awful! The balcony furniture was ripped up and was dirty! The floor mats in the rooms were dirty! (we took pictures of everything)!Needless to say, we IMMEDIATELY left this and went to the rental company (Panhandle Getaways) and spoke with Joe B. And he was AMAZING! He was able to move us to another condo which was beautiful! If you ever do business with Panhandle getaways, please ask for Joe B! Thankfully this experience did not ruin our vacation! Who ever the owner of this property is needs to be aware of how bad this condo is and needs to give this condo some much needed TLC!!

Great place to stay with younger kids lots of things to do from the water park and the lazy river along with the pools. Plus you are just outside all the Panama City traffic! We will definitely be returning for our 5th time!

The Splash Resort is just right for families with small kids. Our kids loved the splash pads, pools, and water activities. One MAJOR ISSUE though is with the elevators. VERY LONG wait times to use them. For the amount of people using the building, 2 elevators is very inadequate.
