Splash 305W - Beachfront, Pools, Waterpark, Lazy River, Free Activities, Fam Fav

Loved every minute of the vacation! Great room tons of pool space. Def took advantage of the jet ski and chair rental! Both were reasonably priced. Wish there were more chairs around pool area. And that the restaurants/bar areas were open when they said they would be. Times were hit and miss when they were open. Beach was great and view was fantastic! Will visit again!

Couch had what looked like blood stains on two of the cushions and couch was also broke on one end. Place was dirty. Fridge/Freezer did not work and smelled horribly of a fish odor. bed Sheets has long black curly hair all over it. Walls had dirty stuff all over them in the kitchen, Showers were nasty with hair and dirt in them. Microwave and kitchen cabinets were nasty. We ended up leaving not long after we arrived and went somewhere else. I took pictures of what the condo really looks like but it's not giving me an option to post.

When we arrived the king size bed didn't have a flat sheet and the comforter was balled up at the end of the bed. We had to call the cleaning company for one and put it on ourselves. Not sure any of the sheets were changed because our teenagers found sand in the twin bunk beds in the hallway. The place definitely needs some updating and a better cleaning. There was food still on dishes in the cabinets. The bathrooms felt so gross with all of the stains and chipped paint everywhere. I would not recommend. Luckily we only booked it for 2 nights of our week long stay and ended up in a much better and clean condo for the rest of the week.

The resort in general was very nice. The pools were nice, location nice, cleanliness good for the most part. I only have 2 complaints. First, only 2 elevators for a 21 floor building making it a challenge every single time we needed one. Thankfully we were only on the third floor so we took the stairs quite a bit however my mom was in a boot so it was more difficult for her. Second, the trash chute on our floor was clogged and of the 4 days we were there no one ever fixed that which just left bags and bags of stinky garbage coming out of the door. The condo itself was nice with just a couple things we weren't thrilled by. The pull out couch bed, do not prepare to use this as a bed as it is super thin and you can feel every single spring in the mattress. I know its a couch bed but there are replacement mattresses that can be purchased and for the cost of the stay I feel like they can afford that upgrade. The mattress felt like it was from the 80's and still being used. The only other thing was the cleanliness. Everything within sight was clean, however, my daughter dropped something behind the bunk bed and they went under to get it and it was disgusting. I'm talking open sucker, goggles, candy wrappers, food crumbs, etc.

We were very pleased with our stay at Splash 305W. This was our first vacation in 4 years. The room and condo was ideal for our 6 year old and 3 year old twins. As a mother, I was super ecstatic at how well stocked the kitchen was. Fall Break was busier than I expected but it was still not as busy as the summer season. The lazy river was closed for the week for maintenance. We were a little bummed about that but know at times that can't be helped. We will definitely be returning to Splash.?

DIRTY! Crumbs in kitchen, a whole cookie under tv chest (easily seen), food bits/smears on furniture/walls/lampshade/throw pillow/carpet, black hand print smudges on master bath door/all switch plates, mildew, dirty/sticky slip covers on furniture, thick dust on areas not touched frequently... Checked in at 4, dropped bags & left for Pier Park, returning just in time for bed, so I didn’t notice filth until next day. By 9 am, our feet were black from walking on floor. No mop-just broom w/o dustpan & vacuum. Immediately went to buy cleaning supplies - didn’t want my kids touching anything & didn’t feel I could trust housekeeping to clean. I sent my family out to have fun & spent 2 hours cleaning & covering the couch/chair with the spare sheets. A quick vacuuming left a 4x4x3” dirt pile. I called housekeeping to mop. I have pics. Furniture is shabby/dated, many lightbulbs out/missing, cable not programmed/no channel guide. WiFi terrible. Splash property poorly maintained/dirty-trash & same spill (vomit?) in hall 4 days. Elevators take forever - thankfully we were on the third floor, so we were able to take the stairs. THAT SAID, PANAMA CITY BEACHES ARE BEAUTIFUL! There is so much to do, if you don’t want to sit on the beach. We used to live in the area & wanted to go back to help after Hurricane Michael. The Panama City side (east of the Hathaway Bridge) was hit hard. Speaking with people we know, the service industry is struggling due to lack of affordable housing (many apartment complexes were catastrophically damaged/condemned after Michael & rents have skyrocketed) - workers literally have no where to live, so they’ve had to leave the area - so sad! As a result, customer service is not at its best in restaurants & such. REGARDLESS, WE WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT THE AREA! We will most likely not rent a property managed by Panhandle Getaways again. We will not return to Splash. I could only recommended it (with a warning about maintenance/cleaning) to families with very young children. Their water play areas are super convenient, but designed for young children - my six year old still loved it, my nine year old was over it.

The unit we were in, 305w, was right off of the elevator. It was a very convenient location. The condo was very clean upon arrival. The tv in the den was too small and never did actually work right. Nice large tv in bedroom though. Kitchen was furnished adequately but could use some new cookware. Overall this was a good condo and location.
