Spacious ocean view condo with large balcony & washer/dryer - easy beach access

The house was unkept and dirty. There were uncovered pillows and blankets laying on the floor in the closets with cleaning products and other things. There was hair in the tub. There was some kind of substance on the wall. The internet network provided was the wrong one. Once found, it was not working consistently. The TV in the back bedroom was not hooked up to a Roku and did not work. Chipped paint or paint off the walls throughout the house. We were not told we were on the top floor and had to walk up 6 flights of stairs. The owner did not provide me with his personal contact information. I messaged him twice and NEVER heard back from him. I called VRBO TWICE and never was contacted back from them either. Photos were texted to VRBO rep

The unit was as advertised - to bad the management VACASA sucks

It's fine for the price, but there are a bunch of easy fixes that are neglected that would make it better.

Check in was easy and the location was great, you can see the ocean from the balcony. HOWEVER, this rental was a hot mess. When we first got there, it didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well. I know we’re at the beach, but there was an excessive amount of sand all over the floors and beds. Our main issue was when we first got there, only 1 room had a working AC unit/power out of the 4. Turns out a fuse was blown, so we turned that on and the power/AC came back for about 5 minutes before it went out again. We had to keep turning on and off the fuse and it was very frustrating. I messaged Vacasa and I also tried calling the local line but never got any responses from the local team. Since this seems to be owned by a company and not individual people, they couldn’t really help us with our issue. We ended up figuring out the issue with the AC ourselves (it won’t go lower than 70 degrees without blowing a fuse, for future reference) but it was frustrating getting 0 help from this company.When we woke up on Saturday we all felt very stuffy and sick, and then on Sunday before we left we realized the AC unit in the room we were staying in had mold and dust in it, so we figured that was probably the reason we didn’t feel good. Also, the blinds in a couple rooms were broken as well.We did appreciate that the house had chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Overall, I don’t think we would return because the cons outweighed the pros of this place.

The property is as advertised, in that it’s a standard 3 bed in Ocean City. It could use a deep cleaning and a new paint job, but for the price it’s fine. It has a great view and a very convenient location, and the set up is what you’d want. But there a couple things that I didn’t enjoy. The management company was generally responsive, but their night pickup process was a pain. Their office closes at 5 and yet you can’t check in until 4:00, so you either have to get their in a tight window or deal with the pickup box which must be opened with a code that was sent deep within an email that they sent months before, among the many emails they spam you with after you book the place. They also use a proprietary WiFi system that you need to log into every time you use it and it only worked in one room of the apartment. They provided linens for the bed, which is good because many places don’t, but they were extremely cheap and scratchy such that my wife and I had trouble sleeping.The apartment also could use just a few easy changes that would make it feel more like someone cares. For example it comes with boogie boards and beach umbrellas but they’re in terrible shape and barely usable. There is a shelf over the master toilet that is very rickety and just needs a simple wall anchor to keep it stable. The oven vent hood needs cleaning. Etc.These are mostly cosmetic things that won’t ruin a weekend, but they are easy changes and it seems silly that they wouldn’t fix it.

The location was great. There was free parking for one spot and then free parking in front of property. First come first serve it was really nice. Right at the beach. It was really nice and convenient.

We had a great time. The location is perfect. It’s located in walking distance to many local restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s not a fancy unit, but it’s all you need if you’re looking for a beach getaway.

the good- great location off the beach in mid town the bad- horrible working with Vacasa, check in is difficult you have to go to 65th street to get keys and to drop them off. The unit really could use a good deep cleaning (dust on all the windows, on top of the TP roll etc), new AC units, we only got 1extra roll of TP but both bathrooms only had 1/4 roll left when we got there. It would have been nice to know it was a Kuerig since nothing was provided to start you off and the filter was buried deep in a misc draw. For the money a hotel would have done better overall.

Clean, close to the beach & very convenient for a larger family!

Everything was great! So close to the beach! In walking distance to great restaurants and recreation like mini golf. Close to boardwalk. Only complaint is check the air conditioners air filters. Other than that great stay and great property and great location!

Check in was easy, we arrived late and had no issues getting the keys. The house was clean and parking was easy. There are parking spots on the street if there is more than one car. The house is steps away from the beach. Everything worked in the house. We will stay here again.
