Stayed Mar 16, 2025The earlier reviews on this property are pretty accurate...more so than I was hoping! The location of this property is terrific! It's a short walk to the slopes and a true ski-in when you're done for the day. However, overall the condo is disappointing. My family isn't that picky so when I read the reviews before booking I felt sure that we'd be fine with the dated condition of the lodging itself. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The location is so good that I think the owner takes advantage of the renter in knowing we'll pay for the location and take what they give us. There are few amenities in even the most basic sense, for instance: the sheets are laundered but are stained and very old, the bedding itself is also old and minimal with no extra blankets, the couch is leather with 2 small, worn pillows that are stained and flat and no blankets, the lighting isn't great and there are 2 mirrors in the bathrooms but no others to help facilitate a group of people getting ready at once. There is an old armoire with a vintage mirror but it's hard to see as it's not clear. The master toilet is built on a platform so it's a bit uncomfortable to use. The sliding glass door blinds don't close so if you're sleeping in the loft bed there is no way to keep the light out. Each of these things may have seemed quirky or a minor inconvenience alone but when added together it really feels as if the owners simply know they don't need to make an effort as the location is so sought after.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024The cost was good for the location glad we snagged it. Loves how close we were to the slopes and ability to ski in and out. We had a great time.

Stayed Feb 19, 2023The location of the property was excellent, ski in, and short walk/ski out to the main gondola. Great location to the village and bus drive to the downtown. Property itself is somewhat dated, as described by many, but very comfortable and at a good price. Can't expect cheap and luxurious. Overall very comfortable. Had large ski lockers, jacuzzi and laundry room (coin operated at $1). Instacart delivers to the property tho be mindful of times. Check in/out is a little cumbersome, as you need to pick up/drop off keys at office located in downtown, but not to bad. Overall, we were happy and will return

Stayed Jan 18, 2023We needed a long weekend to enjoy some snow and this place was perfect. And almost 1,000 cheaper than 90% of the other places, and honestly was perfect. It was a little dated but we didn’t mind at all. We spent our time on the slopes, hot springs and dinner. It was a WALK out ski in. Our first experience with it and figured it out just fine. Walking distance to the resort, 7 mins I believe. Super nice area. We even enjoyed the hot tub one night, very nice. Cons. It was HOT when we got there had to open the balcony door, not a big deal. And the upstairs shower didn’t wanna work for a few seconds when the downstairs shower first came on, just wait one minute and it will work again. Overall 5 stars from me!

Stayed Dec 18, 2022This was a fine place to stay. It maybe felt a bit dated, but place was as described - except that it is definitely not ski out. It is ski in, but getting onto the slopes requires crossing a road. Though it is not hard to get to the slopes - maybe 5 minutes of sking+walking. Otherwise the interior of the place was as advertised and we had no complaints about our stay.

Stayed Mar 5, 2021The condo was clean and was perfect for a long ski weekend with friends. The only thing we realized was it’s more of a ski in/walk out but it was still convenient to the slopes. The kitchen was well equipped, and parking was easy.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This building was constructed in 1969, and unit 530 hasn't been updated since! (well, maybe the carpet was replaced 20 years ago). It is so bad, I wouldn't stay again if it was free. In good snow, it is ski in, but not out. 110 steps and over 100 yards to the Christie III lift, which almost never is in use. So, you ski down to the other lifts or gondola. The mattresses were worn out; there were open electrical boxes; it smells 24 hours a day; the kitchen cabinets are past tired - they are the originals and completely shot; there is not a single decent fry pan in the unit; the master shower doesn't have a seal at the bottom, so every time you shower you have a puddle on the floor; the steps to the master are steep and small - way out of compliance with current building code; the second bathroom tub appears to be the original from 1969, as does the faucet; laundry is on the third floor (unit on fifth), and was out of service. the shuttles won't take you to/from the hill base - a driver told us the HOA for these old buildings didn't want to pay the fee. To say something good, the lockers for skis are large, even though not at ground level (there is an elevator). The view from the patio is toward the gondola square area. We stayed at a different Storm Meadows unit last year and were much happier.
