Mammoth Lakes has one of the longest ski seasons in the U.S., with ample snow from approximately November through May. Fishing season is the last Saturday in April through Nov. 15 every year. In the summer months, when the snow melts, access is available to Yosemite via Tioga Pass and throughout the backcountry. Fall colors generally peak in late September and early October, and offer a wonderful spectacle in our “off-season.” If you wish to plan your trip around one of Mammoth’s events, including Blues Apalooza, Jazz Jubilee, Mammoth Motocross or one of our tough summer triathlons, check out the Mono County Events Calendar. Sightseeing in Mammoth area includes Devil's Postpile National Monument, Rainbow Falls, Minaret Vista, historic mine sites and museums. Don't miss a scenic ride to the top of Mammoth Mountain's 11,053 summit and the Top of the Sierra Interpretive Center. Within the Mammoth Lakes Basin are several great lakes, stocked annually and offering float, boat and shore fishing. Catch rainbows, browns and brookies from the last Saturday in April through Nov. 15 every year. Mammoth Mountain’s Adventure Center is the departure point for this popular day trip. It starts with a 10-minute scenic bus ride into the diverse river valley. Stops along the route include meadows, lakes, streams, and waterfalls. Services include campsites, a pack station and a general store.

Love this place. Feels like a home away from home. Will definitely come back again.

Our experience at this property was unfortunately quite negative, starting with the extremely rude property manager. When our friend, who booked the accommodations, called for assistance, he was hung up on and denied the contact information for the manager’s supervisor. This lack of professionalism set the tone for the entire stay.We were notified only two hours before check-in that there would be no internet on the first day, leaving us unprepared. Additionally, early check-in was not an option, supposedly because the property needed cleaning and repairs, despite being vacant the night before.Safety was a concern as well. Upon arrival, we discovered that the carbon monoxide detectors were detached. Although the property manager did come the next day to address this after we complained, this should have been resolved beforehand. The accommodations were also poorly stocked. For a party of six adults and two children staying for four days, we were only provided with eight large towels and two rolls of paper towels for the entire house—an unacceptable amount. Finally, the most alarming issue was the dangerous amount of ice at the entrance of the garage. This was not only unsafe but baffling, as every other house in the neighborhood had their walkways cleared before we arrived.Overall, the property itself had potential, but the lack of preparation, unprofessional management, and unsafe conditions made our stay stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend staying her

Very clean place, nice linens, stocked with basic essentials. WiFi failed, half-working TiVo in the main room only, WiFi dependent apps on the other two TVs. They do have some puzzles and board games available. You have to take out all your own trash.

We visited in a group of 5 people for 3 nights. There were spiders and webs all over the place. The blankets were dirty, stained and full of hairs. The beds were shaking a lot. The washing machine was clogged and we had to carry our wet clothes back. The top floor bathroom flush was not working. Looked like no one even checked the property before renting out. We went for this when we saw 3 bathrooms but it was of no use after paying the such a steep price.
