Spacious 4BR Schweitzer- Condo Sleeps 11 -Near Village & Lake

Very well appointed kitchen, comfortable sheets and a wonderful stay.

I stayed in this property two times, both in February for a skiing trip. I really liked the value of the property. It is not the closest to the ski area and does not have a hot tub or anything like that, but the price was really good both times. The property is spacious and clean, and I like the large garage that fit my van with the carrier box on top, which was very helpful. Another thing, the driveway is steep, and my Chrysler Pacifica had hard time climbing it even with the chains when the snow was fresh, but no problems when it is plowed or compacted. Just something to keep in mind. The owners remind about chains too, but even chains may not be enough if it is snowing heavily.Also, I had some communication with the owner/manager during my stay, and they were very helpful. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this place for its value.

We had a group of skiers stay here. Everything worked out great. The place was clean and as expected. The host was nice and communicative. One thing to not is that the shuttle only runs on the weekends, so transportation is needed. The driveway is really steep, and my front-wheel minivan with good tires could not go up without chains. I just kept the chains on for the whole stay since I was only dropping off and picking up from the village.

We had a great stay. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is truly equipped for cooking, which we took full advantage of. Be advised you need to buy groceries before driving up from Sandpoint, there is not much available in the village.My one bit of feedback is about the listing being ‘1minute’ from ski area. It is not. BUT there is a free door to door shuttle that will pick you up and drive you right to the base area. It’s a much better option than driving down and parking. So getting to/from the skiing is pretty painless, but it’s not a 1 minute walk.

The living room and kitchen are really nice — honestly better than the photos. Very comfortable space for two families and well appointed with basic kitchen needs. The location is very close to the mountain and village, though it requires a drive and it is located up a very steep hill so good snow tires and 4x4 are musts! There were a few issues - the temps were freezing on bottom floor and roasting on top floor. Also, sound carried at night. The noise from voices, running water, and heaters plus the rock hard mattresses in the guest rooms on top floor kept many of us awake at nights. Overall, a good place but maybe worth a second thought if you are a sensitive sleeper.

Property has a stunning view, everything you need to stay. Host very hospitable and responsive. Only downside was the '1 minute walking distance to the resort' listed was not accurate. It is more of a 10–15-minute walk to the village. Otherwise, would recommend.

We had three families stay in this condo and it was perfect!
