Bask in the full southern sun of Southern Exposure, our south-facing condo featuring plenty of natural light and unparalleled views of Asheville's South Slope and the Blue Ridge Mountains beyond. This one-bedroom, one-bath condo in the heart of downtown Asheville comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home, whether you're staying for a week or an entire season.

As you walk through the front door, you will be met with an open concept kitchen and breakfast bar overlooking the living room. The kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining, features all the amenities you could ask for, including a refrigerator/freezer, five-burner gas range, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig K-Duo coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, and blender. Below the sink you will find an initial stock of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, Finish dish rinse, along with trash bags, recycling bags and paper towels. To help give you a taste of Asheville, we've stocked your coffee station with a small supply of local coffee and tea from Dynamite Roasting Co and Asheville Tea Company. The breakfast bar seats four comfortably, providing not only space to eat but also space to work remotely. The living room has a sleeper sofa for two, two comfortable chairs which are light enough to turn and bask in the sun or watch the sunset with your favorite evening beverage. For entertainment, there is a 55” cable TV and 75+ Mbps of wi-fi so you can stream your favorite binge worthy shows. Southern Exposure boasts two floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows in the living room and bedroom, allowing for fresh air and unbeatable views of the city and mountains beyond - perfect for waking up in the morning and winding down in the evening.

Off the living room is a separate bedroom where you will find a comfortable King bed complete with linens, an extra chair and a 55” cable TV. Sit and relax with the sweeping views of south Asheville, overlooking the many breweries Asheville has to choose from. An additional set of linens for the bed and the sleeper sofa are stored in the bedroom closet along with an extra blanket. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep courtesy of the white noise machine next to the bed with a range of relaxing sounds and noise volumes to choose from.

The bathroom, which is located off the bedroom, is where you will find a variety of complimentary amenities including shampoo and conditioner, lotion, hand soap, cotton balls and swabs, hair dryer, towels, facial tissue, and toilet paper. The toilet room is closed off from the rest of the bathroom allowing for extra privacy. Also located off the bathroom is a stacked washer and dryer including an initial stock of free and clear laundry pods.

Southern Exposure is located on the 10th floor of the Arras Building, just an elevator ride away from an array of Asheville's award-winning breweries and restaurants. Don't forget to visit the many boutique shops and local artists that truly makes Asheville exceptional during your stay.

Southern Exposure is pet-friendly with guests permitted to bring a maximum of two pets. There is a non-refundable $150 one-time pet fee. Additionally, long-term stays are welcome at Southern Exposure.

Access
After you book your stay in Southern Exposure, you will receive a confirmation email and a text message. Our lease agreement will be sent to you separately via Adobe Sign for easy completion. We require this to be signed and returned before we release the access code to the lockbox outside of the condo with the keys. The access code will be texted to you the evening prior to your arrival. These text messages will include a link to our digital guidebook of Asheville and a property guide for the condo. This guide was compiled by our team with information and recommendations from locals created to help you get the most out of your visit to Asheville, as well as housekeeping items like building information, how to access the valet deck, and arrival and departure instructions. We welcome you to save that phone number and use it to easily communicate with us surrounding any questions or comments regarding your stay.

Parking
When you book your stay at Southern Exposure, one of the convenient amenities we offer is valet parking at just $32 a night. You will have full access to come and go as you please. You also have the option to self-park in the city. If you are ride sharing into town, please let us know after booking so we can remove the parking charge for you. Please note that self-parking in Asheville is always first-come, first-served and the closet parking garage is right across the street at 16 Broadway Avenue, attached to the AC hotel. Valet parking does have access to electric car charging stations; please inform the valet team upon arrival of the need to charge your vehicle. There is an additional cost to use the charging station which ranges from $10-$20.

Building Amenities
Included in your stay at Southern Exposure is access to the building's gym, which is located on the 3rd floor of the building. The gym is fully outfitted with Peloton bikes, leading edge treadmills, rowing machines, rogue strength and conditioning equipment, and space for yoga and stretching. To reset your muscles or to relax on your vacation, schedule an appointment at our in-house massage room, Urban Exhale Massage, conveniently located next to the gym on the 3rd floor. Please note, massage services are not included in the cost of your booking.

An additional amenity available to you when booking Southern Exposure are our in-house food & beverage offerings, conveniently located on the first floor. Our culinary partners are proud to bring you an irresistible casual yet fine dining restaurant with Bargello, offering a menu inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, as well as the inviting bar and lounge, District 42, serving a collection of seasonal and craft cocktails and shareable small plates.     Loved this property as you have access to the Kimpton Hotel amenities amd are within walking distance of most restaurants and galleries. The view is stunning as well.

    Cannot recommend Southern Exposure enough. Great location to everything in downtown Asheville. Beautiful views from the room. The condo is very well decorated, clean and a great bathroom. Will definitely return here in the future

    Enjoyed very much. Location is excellent within walking distance to many fine restaurants and music. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Apartment was functional and clean, especially enjoyed the shower. It had everything we needed. We recommend highly.

    The condo was fantastic. Very well stocked, great views of the city and mountains and very clean. Just be aware that some of the condos allow pets and on our last night we had a barking dog next to us, sound travels through the walls. The dog stopped barking when the owner finally came back. The valet parking was excellent in getting my vehicle when I needed it. Everything was in walking distance restaurants and shops. The Kimpton Hotel was very nice inside and out. However, you have to realize that you are in downtown Asheville and be vigilant about safety. The outside patio was great except for the guy who was singing everyday right in front of the patio where carrying on a conversation was difficult. The food was excellent at Bargellos (inside the hotel), Strada Italiano (reservations a must) and Packs Tavern ( great place to hang out). Prices vary but mostly on the high side.

    Other than I wish someone had explained that key fobs will speed access to the elevators everything was great. There is a sight bait and switch story as the bottom line price is almost double the original listed price when all the fees are added in. Still a good vacation at a high price.
