Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

    The house was big, clean, and specious! It was a very short walk to beautiful beaches with a clear, calm, ocean. The views were spectacular all around. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The pool was clean and sparklng the entire time. I was pleasantly surprised how close the pool is to the condo...right outside the back door! Our whole family had an amazing time, even the dog! One more thing, the whirlpool tub in the master bath was the icing on the cake! Ultimate relaxing vacation in paradise!

    This location is so nice, it is difficult to stay anywhere else. The house is immaculate and perfect distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. This is our second year in a row at 115 and I have a feeling next year will be three.

    We loved everything about this property! We were looking for a place we could park our car and be able to walk to everything, and this place was all we hoped for! We walked to the beach, to the restaurant, to the stores, it was so wonderful! The only place we had to drive to was Publix, which is only about a half a mile away. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really loved it here!

    The location was very clean and very updated. All of the bedrooms were also very comfortable and spacious. Such an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. But most importantly, a simple walk to the beach. This location was an excellent find, and I would absolutely suggest to anyone else.
