The suite layout was great, 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms was really nice. However, upon arrival the refrigerator did not work and the washer was full of mold. It took the property manager a couple days to determine that the refrigerator did not work, they had to order a part so they set us up with a mini-fridge on Wednesday (we checked in Sunday). We used a cooler and ice to hold us over, not ideal. I scrubbed the washer and ran a self-clean mode but the mold was so bad that it stained the seal of the washer and the smell was still musty. The carpets also need to replaced and smelled as well.I've stayed at the Portofino many times and never had an experience like this. I would chaulk it up to bad luck but when reading past reviews, ALL of these issues were complaints in the past. This was very embarrassing to say the least. My guests were not impressed. Not having a fridge was very inconvenient for 4 adults.The host did communicate with us well but this was all reactive in nature. A little proactive action would have eliminated the issues we dealt with.

We love Portofino but this unit has not been touched since day 1. The carpet is old and dirty. The tvs were so ancient we had to stream thru our computer. It smells a little old and musty. Beautiful views…. Just needs someone to put in a little TLC

This property was perfect for our family of 6. All amenities we as described and allowed for some great downtime when we were not engaged with wedding festivities.

Three days before checking in I was told of another 265.00 fee from Portofino. I was told it was a reminder. When I asked to show me the first time I was told about these fees I never heard back from anyone. Other family members also booked a room and never had any of these fees

The unit was dated and minor repairs were needed. The refrigerator shelving was broken and patio door for master didn't lock. The caroets needed replacing. But everything ekse was spectacular! These things didn't butter me much because our unit was chair too rent than other 3br's listed fir this complex. Very good experience with Portofino and Pensecola is amazingly beautiful!

The amenities were very nice as was the parking garage. The unit however had some issues. The carpet and area rugs were really dirty as was the flooring itself. Many of the dishes were dirty and the ice maker in the door was frozen solid. Most of the furniture was damaged or missing knobs and handles. The main tv was not working properly and the cords had been damaged by the previous tenants. The water heater leaked and during our stay we had storms and water came in the windows off the balcony,resulting in wet floors and luggage. Overall the unit needs some love.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this resort is! It was so beautiful, and the location was epic. We got there in the late afternoon after a long drive and being able to eat at the onsite restart was perfect. We’ve never stayed in a beach condo with a bay view, but the view from the balcony was amazing as we coulD see both the bay and the gulf. The beach was so close, and even in December we were able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub and pools. We would come back!

Stay was not excellent, and condo could have been prepared/cleaned better when we arrived. Carpet was nasty and needs to be replaced. No bedding on one of the beds(Housekeeping did come after we called and made a complaint), Refrigerator Ice Maker didn't work, not enough kitchen ware to cook, remotes didn't have batteries, TV was missing power cord, antenna cord was broken and would not stay connected, beds were not comfortable, AC was on but was hot in the Condo, could use better outdoor furniture, toilet paper roll holder in toilet room was not tighten and fell off. Not worth the money we paid to stay at this condo.

Booked this place last minute due to price. This unit was an amazing surprise. Not on the Gulf Front but the excellent views of the beach, the bay, sunrise and sunset. The unit is huge! The balcony is huge (could use a dining table though). The complex is amazing and the walk to the beach was not too difficult. Easy access to several swimming pools and lots to do.

Very nice except for the stained carpet. Dishwasher leaked . Couldn't get sliding door to patio to lock. Ice maker was frozen up, hard to open dispenser and door

The property was fantastic everything I would expect for a vacation condo lots of anemones property management is friendly easy access to Main Road beautiful Scenic views will be back!
