Stayed Oct 12, 2025This was our second year at Sound Decision. Awesome property!! Well equipped, comfortable, convenient and designed to make your stay a memorable one! New this stay: a“all the bells and whistles” coffee maker ( brews potbor pods) , toiletry boxes in bathrooms, and lots of charging stations. We’ve already made a reaervation for next year!!

Stayed Oct 13, 2024The unit was comfortable, convenient and just as described. Well equipped with beautiful views! The only downside was a somewhat unpredictable elevator, but the rental company went the extra mile to make sure we could access our unit. They even offered us a second unit if the stairs became too big an issue. We’re definitely planning to book Sound Decision again for next year.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Wonderful property, clean, beautiful setting but taken aback at being provided only one dishwasher pod, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, tiny bars of soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no beach towels, and one thin bath towel, face towel and wash cloth per person. Given the price we paid, I would expect these amenities to be included. And for reference, I own a ski condo on the mountain in Colorado and we provide these amenities and much, much more. We’ve stayed at other vacation properties and never encountered the paucity of inexpensive amenities that would make guests much happier.

Stayed Sep 11, 2021This was our first trip to the outer banks area and wanted to base ourselves in the Manteo area. We found this unit, and I have to say we were beyond delighted. The unit is large, 4-bedrooms, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The views over the Roanoke sound are stunning. We really enjoyed our stay, and would come back here in a heartbeat.

Stayed Jul 4, 2021We enjoyed our stay at Sound Decision- the condo was beautiful and the neighborhood was lovely. We really enjoyed the deck and the sound view. The layout was great and the furnishings were nice. Our only complaint is the lack of dish rags and kitchen towels, and that it wasn't ready for check-in until about 4:40.
