Soaring Eagle Lodge - Snowshoe's Newest, Platinum Rated

Great value. Second time staying. We will again.

Ease of process beginning with an inside parking garage, to accessing key cards to luggage carts. Soaring Eagle lift is near this lodge making end of day skiing a breeze getting back to room. Village to restaurants is a shuttle away and it’s free. Pick up and drop off from lodge.Rooms were spotless and clean. Beautifully decorated. Highly recommend. Host responded quickly for all pre-trip questions.

Great place to stay. We love that there is a garage. The hot tubs are major plus. The unit is very clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay at Snowshoe. Kevin is a great host.

Second time staying here. Host is great to communicate with, the condo was clean and in good condition.

VERY NICE UNIT, BUT .......Snowshoe and Soaring Eagle staff were their usual awesome and this unit was very nice and comfortable, but some host issues were not resolved during our stay. More importantly, no attempt was made to try to resolve during our stay. It was very disappointing that the fireplace did not work and we learned was not working prior to our arrival either. With hiking, skiing and very cold weather, this was certainly a disappointment, especially on Super Bowl Sunday while gathered to watch TV. A spare set of batteries in the unit would probably have resolved the issue. The sticky lockers were unusable because no one in our party could get the door locking mechanisms to properly open and close. Thus, instead of using the lockers multiple times a day, we were hauling wet skis to our vehicles because of this stickiness. Again, host was aware of this situation prior to our visit, but did not address. At arrival, the keys to our unit were in a lockbox in the lobby, but the lockbox door was wide open and the envelope in the box with the keys was torn open. No sense of security. The morning we were checking out there were a set of keys for Maintenance in the lockbox, so the host was finally taking action, apparently. Although the unit was very nice, aside from the security, locker and fireplace situation, there are many other nice properties and attentive hosts at Snowshoe to consider.

Very clean, well stocked 2 bedroom unit at Soaring Eagle! Easy check in process. Fabulous spot on Snowshoe.

Communication was clear. The kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of blankets. Soaring Eagle Resort is not maintained as well as it used to be, but this unit was very nice.

We love this place!!! It’s perfect for families. We love having the extra bathroom/bedroom, the parking garage, proximity to ski rental and soaring eagle lift.

Loved the location and the fireplace!

I really enjoyed this lodge and the mountain air. It was an adventure getting up the mountain but once there you can catch the shuttle down to the village and silver creek. The view in the morning was beautiful. The owner was very friendly with good communication. The furniture was comfortable and everything was clean. I would definitely visit again.

Place is nice clean and well stocked kitchen. Our first time staying here and was nice.

The property and our specific unit were absolutely fantastic. Very clean, spacious, and convenient. It is literally at the top of Snowshoe mountain. The unit is in the same building as a ski rental shop, and our ski equipment storage locker in the basement was about 50 feet from the top of one of the Snowshoe lifts. A few times we literally left our skis over on the snow at the top of the lift while we went back up to the unit for lunch. It was AWESOME. Easiest skiing ever. Snowshoe village is less than a mile down the mountain - walkable if you want but less than a minute drive, so super convenient. The building has a serviceable fitness center with treadmill, spin bikes, water rower, kettle bells, sauna, and a cable-type machine. Just outside the building there are two hot tubs. The unit has two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, balcony overlooking the hot tubs, and a kitchen fully stocked with cooking equipment. Kevin was great as a host. Plan to book again soon.

We loved everything about our stay at this property. The condo seemed even more spacious than what the pictures showed. We loved being able to park in the garage for easy access to load unload luggage and skis. You can walk out the door and be right on the hill near soaring eagle lift. We also enjoyed the hot tubs and sauna on prem. Highly recommend this condo!

Great two bedroom but the heat was strange. The one bedroom was too cold & the other one was a heater. Couldn’t be comfortable for all. Condo was clean but hot tubs were not very hot & water was low. Understand this is a HOA but someone needs to stay on them. Owner was great to work with.

We loved our stay at Soaring Eagle, this was our first time at this property. The condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped for my family of six. The kids liked having the extra sleeping space on cots instead of sharing beds. Laundry within the unit was a huge bonus, so was the heated garage (we have had many weekends at Snowshoe packing the car in single digits with a negative wind chill to leave). We used the hot tubs throughout the weekend as well. Only negative and nothing to do with Soaring Eagle Lodge but the Soaring Eagle lift was down one day so getting back to our condo required a shuttle instead of the convenience of taking the lift. Will definitely book this property again!

We have stayed in this unit at Soaring Eagle Lodge for a number of years now, and we keep finding it to be the best place to stay at Snowshoe for the price. The unit is well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The beds offer a wonderful night's sleep after a day on the slopes. Soaring Eagle's heated inside parking lot is a unique feature at the resort. The following comments do not apply to the individual VRBO property owner, but they are worth mentioning.The Soaring Eagle common areas like the hot tubs are not maintained with the same level of care that we were used to in the past. The hot tub water quality seems to be a bit neglected. The building is looking rather shabby with holes in the exterior soffits. The facility is not aging well against the harsh Snowshoe weather. That all said, bottom line, if want a comfortable place to stay in the Top of the World part of the resort, you can't go wrong renting this place.

This was our 3rd time staying at Soaring Eagle and the first time in this unit. This unit was very clean and the host was exceptional to work with. The garage is a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in places by the village for years, but got tired of the long lift lines to get back to our room. We love the steakhouse in souring eagle lodge. So we decided to take a chance staying there. Boy was this ever a wonderful surprise. The place was huge and clean. It was super convenient for kid ski rentals and ski in/out. Parking was amazing with the garage below the building and out of the elements. And it was easy to jump on a free shuttle to get to other dining, the village, or to return to our room after skiing and taking a different lift up the mountain. We definitely will be back! Thank you!

Spacious and comfortable suite

This was our second time at Snowshoe for a family ski trip, and we learned a lot last time we were there. We wanted to be on the slopes and we wanted space for our family to spread out when we were done skiing.This property is fantastic and checks all the boxes. It was clean, it was spacious, it had locker rooms to store our gear, and it was right off the Soaring Eagle lift, so we didn't have to bother with shuttles.Would definitely recommend.

The accommodations and location were great, the added benefit of having the covered parking garage was fantastic. The check in process was not smooth, I recommend confirming 2 days prior to arrival as cell service is not available at the top of the mountain.

The lift is right on the doorstep, the trail to the woods is 7 minutes walking, sauna, hot tub, Heated garage and locker room….We enjoyed every single amenity provided.The unit itself is clean, spacious and very well equipped . We had a fantastic time . We will be back next time, for sure. No need to look at any other places for our next Snowshoe trip. My kids had so much fun that they wanted to ski more on the day of checkout. I contacted the property manager and The host asking for help to allow us to stay in the hearth room while waiting for our kids. As of this moment at 2:55 pm, our keycards are still active while we are siting in this lovely, beautiful hearth room. This is huge help, we ( husband and me) are able to get on line to check emails and so on, while our kids are skiing. I could give the is place 7 star if it’s allowed.

We had a great stay. The owner was very responsive to challenges with the key when we arrived. And made sure the rest of our stay was great. The apartment was very nice, clean and convenient to everything. We definitely recommend it.

Beautiful place ! Scenery is amazing a great place to stay even if your not skiing I definitely recommend this place and where we stayed was beautiful and the staff and owner was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure everything went well ! Thank you for making our Cass trip even better
