The Cozy Chalet was perfect for our group of three. There was outstanding communication from the owners and everything was just as described. Would highly recommend this condo for others to take advantage of the short walk to the the slopes at the top of the Powderidge lift, but without all the busy activity and parking issues at the Snowshoe Village area on a busy weekend.

Steve and Susan communicated very well and gave us very clear check in and check out instructions. The house was cozy and was exactly as described! We would definitely stay here again!

The Cozy Chalet was very convenient for skiing. There was a lk to the slopes. The place was quiet and clean. It had everything needed to have a good stay.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Cozy Chaletand look forward to hopefully returning.Quiet and peaceful place, and yet only a short and a beautiful walk to the big downtown!

Great communication with host and even had Christmas gifts (fleece blankets) for ny kids under the tree and a bottle of red wine for me and my husband when we arrived. A cozy post Christmas ski getaway for our family!

The stay was just as listed! Cozy, a wonderful wood burning fireplace, studio style apartment; super close to the slopes. So far this has been my favorite stay at snowshoe mountain :)

The room is well maintained and decorated! The bed is comfortable! Everything is as described. We enjoyed our stay!

Susan and her husband were fantastic. The location is perfect for skiing and for proximity to restaurants. Very clean and cute interior. Great spot!That said, if for some reason you are going there for skiing and the mountain is not open, do not bother going. (Snowshoe pushed back opening day to our last day because of warm weather.) The mountain was completely shut down. There was ONE restaurant per day that was open. We were essentially locked in the room for all the days that we were there.Susan and her husband were very nice and did try to help us find a different time to stay there since it was past the cancellation time, but we should’ve just forfeited the money. There’s just nothing to do there during the winter if there is no skiing.We would stay here again if we knew that it was during the ski season.

Host was very welcoming and provided answers to any questions we had. Place was clean, I clean for a living and it passed my test. Plenty of space for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very relaxing. Did not find the pools or hot tubs that were in the picture and they were not discussed in the info packet on the premises. Had a great time.

The place was small and comfortable, we did not use the fireplace. We just slept there and ventured around.

Lives up to the name. Cozy and comfortable. It had what I needed in the kitchen, in the bathroom, and in the living area. The bed was super comfortable and not beaten up. Location was perfect. Would love to rent again.

We had the best time celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. The cabin was perfect for just the two of us! We loved the fireplace!

We absolutely LOVED this condo. The owners have done a fabulous job with the renovations, and all the added touches. everything provides for a great get away. Location was great for all our day trips outside of Snowshoe and within walking distance for The Village restaurants, shops, and activities. Highly recommended for summer and winter!

Cozy Chalet was perfect for our weekend at Snowshoe!

As first-timers to Snowshoe, we were very satisfied with this cozy chalet. The location was great for us, as it was a quick shuttle ride to the village. The shuttle stop is right across the parking lot, as well, which was very convenient. We enjoyed being basically in between the village and Silver Creek, as we enjoyed both areas. It was also a quick hike to one of the slopes, located across the street. The chalet had all of the efficiencies and the space was utilized very well. Easy access to washer and dryer, as well as all kitchen accessories. I loved having two TVs; one for the bed and one for the living area. Susan was a wonderful hostess. She provided great information including directions, codes, etc…Also, we were told that you could not get cellphone signal on Snowshoe. We had great reception at the chalet, which was a bonus! They had a landline with free long distance if you needed it.

A great little cabin getaway. Hosts were gracious and welcoming. The fire place was really nice. Washer dryer and dishwasher really came in handy. They had a lot of television streaming options Hulu Netflix etc… played board games with the kids and have not done that in years. We had a great time. Thank You !!

This was the perfect home base for a short ski trip. The owners have maximized the use of the space, managing to fit 3 comfortable beds into what is essentially a studio apartment. The kitchen was well suited for cooking our premade Costco meals, but if you want to do any real cooking, beware that the oven and dishwasher are smaller than usual.We really appreciated the wood burning fireplace and well stocked firewood/kindling. It takes some patience to get a fire going since the logs are quite large, but the results are worth it. I would bring some quality fire starters if I were to visit again.We also made good use of the equipment locker. Be warned that in snowy/icy conditions, the lock can be very tricky to open. Even with the provided lock de-icing fluid, it took 15 minutes to finagle our way into the locker in the morning.Overall I would recommend staying here. The hosts were super responsive to all communications, and it's hard to beat that five minute walk to the slopes.

Overall, we loved this place! The couple renting the unit was very responsive. Directions to get to the unit and parking were very easy. From the minute, we walked into the unit we felt very welcomed. There was a basket on the counter with a bottle of wine and snacks for us. This extra special touch really made a difference. The view was very nice. The location was a very short walk to get to the village for restaurants and shopping. We did a snowmobiling tour and it was very convenient to get there from the unit. I would highly recommend!

The Cozy Chalet was perfect for our family of 5. Oir rental was stocked with plenty of games and great movies for our kids to watch. Thereis no cell reception and we didnt give them the wifi pw so it was a chance to fully disconnect wofi free.A free shuttle serviceruns throughout the mountain and made it easy to travel. Snowshoe mountain was amazing.all around and a great place for oir little ones to ski for the first time. The Cozy Chalet has shuttle stop at the end of the parking lot - super convienant.We were constantly visited by deer off the balcony. One even got close enough to feed them by hand. Our hosts were great communcaters andwent the extra mile to make our stay special.

This place was great. It was the perfect size for 2-4 adults, 6 if you are taking kids for a ski trip. My partner and I went and it was soooo comfortable. Great kitchen amenities, 5 minute walk to the slopes, bus stop right outside, fast internet, ski locker out side of your apartment, everything you need. The hosts were great, super communicative and fast to respond. 10/10 I will be staying here again in a few months.

Incredibly fantastic. Location and view is great. Loved the little things they have that just makes your trip so much better. (Wine and snacks) Great selection of movies and two nice flatscreen tvs. Love the use of mirrors within the room to make it feel bigger and the adjustable lighting along with the “wine glass chandelier” Will definitely keep this place at the top of the list for next time we come visit snowshoe.

Had a wonderful visit to Snowshoe. The cozy cabin was perfect.

Snowshoe was off season, and we had booked a train ride out of Cass WV. It was a relatively short trip to Cass from Snowshoe. It worked out very well.

Very clean, cozy, and accommodating. There’s nothing negative at all I could say about this place.

We spent one night here in the early fall. The unit was very cute and cozy, and the hosts did an amazing job making us feel welcome, with a nice basket of snacks and water. The location was great, near the village but in a quieter area of Snowshoe. They had plenty of games and movies. Everything was clean and we'll thought out. Communication and instructions for the stay were great and very clear, with a very simple and straightforward checkout process. We'll definitely consider coming back for a ski trip in the future!

I stayed at the cozy chalet while attending a radio astronomy conference in Greenbank West Virginia. The mountaintop vistas were wonderful as was the break from the heat at lower elevations.
