Snowbird Deals Jan Feb! Beach~Pool~Fitness~Hot Tubs~2BR Waterscape 235A

This was our second time staying at Waterscape. We definitely love it with young children. This was our first time staying with Real Joy Vacation Rentals. The first thing we were not excited about was not being able to obtain our wristbands until we checked into our condo at 4 PM. If you book through Vacassa you can pick up your wrist bands at any time and enjoy the pool area until your condo is ready. This particular unit was nice and close to the parking garage making it easy to unload suitcases and groceries. The unit could use some TLC as general wear and tear was starting to show on the unit and furnishings. It also lacked cleanliness (food dried on pots and pans in the cabinets). There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, not enough for a 5 day stay. There was only enough towels (8) that each of us only had one and had to wash them ourselves. The internet did not work in the unit and we had to call tech support ourselves. They said they would send a technician out but never did. We were able to get connected to a nearby room’s internet on day two to get by. This unit is the furthest from the pool area/beach. The condo did not come with a beach chair/umbrella included, unlike other rental companies. There was no rugs inside the unit so sand tracked all over. The cleaning person showed up at 9:55 on our departure day before we had left. If you can get past all the things mentioned above, the pool area and beach is amazing!

The property owner was great. The provided all the information we needed. The condo needs some updating. The dining table top was very water damaged and warped. I had to buy a tablecloth to use the table. The picture of the view from the balcony needs an update. The view is now of the parking lot of the neighboring hotel. Other than that the condo was great.

We were in town for a week long volleyball tournament. This place was within walking distance which is exactly what we wanted. There was plenty of room for all of us, everything worked well except the fan in the master room (only slow setting worked). There was plenty of towels and things to use for the whole group and the pools/hot tubs was the highlight.

This was our first time back to Florida in almost 9 years and was a disappointment all around where the room was concerned. Our family chose not to allow it to ruin our time, we only had a few days in Florida to spend. Outdated, broken and dirty furniture, nothing had really been cleaned besides linens on big beds being changed upon our arrival. Pretty much everything else was filthy including the used bathing suit liner that was stuck on the balcony floor. Someone had also cut the heat on so the room was almost 75 with heat steadily flowing. It was pretty warm the first night stay, but it did eventually cool off. The cable boxes were basic and had trouble working properly constantly. It was most definitely not worth the $1300 we had to pay for it for only 4 days and our only view from this unit was of a construction site, a parking lot, and people walking their dogs to use the bathroom from other hotels next door. The manager made out like he was very concerned and would do whatever he could to make it up to us, especially so a bad review wasn’t given specially on this unit, that was his main concern, not us or the condition of the place! The resort itself had issues and with the pools and lazy River also not working properly. It all seemed to be lacking in maintenance over all.. However the walk to the beach from the resort was really convenient. We learned our lesson and will definitely be booking elsewhere/through another company if we are able to return in the future.

Perfect location with access to the beach and all the pools. This unit could be updated. The main living space TV didn’t work and the floors left your feet black even from the first time we walked in. The oven was questionable if it was safe to use or not. The mattresses on the bunk beds could be better, our kids didn’t sleep well on them. Which is a big deal for a family vacation. :)

well equipped, nice and large with lots of room to move around. beautiful balcony with peekaboo gulf views. The only problem was the communication of the door codes. It was sent to my email and I thought it would come by text. I don't do email on my phone. The smaller bedroom balcony door did not lock. The locking mechanism would only protrude quarter of an inch, not enough to lock. Caused my friend some discomfort.

Unit was nice enough and mostly clean. Parking garage was very close so that was super convenient for unloading and loading. Overall I would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to another trip!
