Silver Beach 404 | OBA Beach front condo! Pet Friendly!

First off let me say the condo and the area was PERFECT!! It was my self and my two daughters and my fur baby, we came for my daughter’s senior trip. The condo was beautiful, clean and we had the most amazing view! Loved waking up each morning to the sound of the ocean and the pretty white beach. So thankful I could bring my little fur baby coco She had the best time sitting on balcony watching the people on the beach and soaking up the Sun!! Overall we had the best trip and definitely will be back! Thank you for everything!

The condo was great. The view was amazing! Easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great! The only concerns we had were the condition of the chairs on the balcony and the picture in the front bedroom that fell on the person in that bed. Everything was clean. The view is amazing. The whole facility was great! Working with Alabama Getaways was perfect also! We will definitely be back!

Pros: Older but nice and clean. Quiet during the nighttime. Property management company was GREAT to work with and responded quickly. Location and view was awesome! Beach and pool access is good. Loading carts easily accessible. Working elevators. Cons: Security gate for beach access never worked and remained unsecured. This allowed non residents entry into the area, which on one occasion allowed a group of thieves onto the beach. Who then trashed the parking lot before leaving. Second bedroom has no closet and too small for two adults to stay in.

This stay was short and we had a good time. Only downfall is everyone so bunched up on the beach together not a big fan but all and all the location was clean and smelt clean. The floors could use a really good scrubbing but we enjoyed our stay there!

This is a very nice condo. It’s directly on the beach and has a beautiful view. The best part is it’s dog friendly and the balcony is enclosed in glass so our fur baby could see out but not fall through. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location, walking distance to multiple shopping areas. While the images of the condo were enhanced it was still a perfect anniversary vacation for myself and my husband. Alabama getaway was available 24/7 and had amazing customer services! Would rent again.

This property is small compared to others nearby, parking out front no huge parking garage which was a plus. There were only 7 floors, so you weren’t fighting with a ton of people! We chose this property because we had planned to bring our small dog, but that plan changed. The property was clean inside and didn’t smell of other pets which was a win! For those with pets area for outside looked convenient & owners were respectful. This property had a small second bedroom with no closet. Second bathroom could use some storage containers. Pros location is very nice and the walk to the beach is short which is a huge plus! Beds were comfortable thankfully! Also grocery just across the street. Cons were ice maker barely worked 10 hours for one ice drop, property has no ice machine and dishwasher needs to be replaced. It worked but the door and bottom rack is an accident in the making. Lastly the patio deck furniture was very nice and comfy, however the patio floor could use a good mop between bookings. We were forever bringing in sand and had black feet if we went barefoot in that area. Lastly I was a little concerned that I didn’t just pay VRBO but had to pay another management company and download their app. Luckily I called VRBO and got verification before doing this. The Pros definitely outweighed the cons! I would definitely consider this property again.

Great views of the ocean and beach access. Would have like more than 1 roll of TP and small container of dish soap.

We enjoyed our visit, especially since we could bring our two small Yorkies. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and rainy with the exception of 1.5 days but we did enjoy the balcony.

Beach view and neighborhood was great. Furniture and beds need updating. Two days in construction started on the next door unit to ours. The noise of jackhammers busting up tile was unbearable. I chose this condo especially due to the fact it advertised as pet friendly. After reading the fine print it said only one pet between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We have 2 dogs so we were heartbroken . Also one dog is over the 20 pound limit so both stayed home. When we arrived we were surprised to see that many guests had multiple dogs with them, many over 50 pounds! I asked one of the guests about her 3 dogs in the elevator with me and she said I don’t think they will say anything. Poop all over the sidewalks.

This condo is wonderful and has everything one needs to have a nice relaxing vacation. The veiw is awesome!

Property was clean and had everything we needed. The dogs had a nice place to do their business. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony. Only down side was that there was only one elevator working.

We really enjoyed our short stay. Will definitely come back. Great location! Clean.

The property was great as well as location. Unless we missed it there was no code provided for pool entrance and I didn't fully understand why we had to enter a code to leave the pool grounds. That was odd. But the fact that it was right on the beach and the view from the balcony, which is a decent size, provided the option of beach or pool and most our time was spent on the beach.
