Shores of Panama 516 - Beachfront, Pools, Hot Tub, Indoor Pool, Free Activities

This was our family vacation that we were look forward to all year. The overall location was great but room 516 was full of roaches which made our stay unpleasant.

Check in process was awesome. All armbands and parking pass were in the condo upon arrival, Convenient parking close to condo. Check out via text. Highly recommended

Not yet peak and the beach was full. They’re are to many hotel using that spot. There looked to be to many underage renters. Strong smell of marijuana smoke. Fire alarm went of twice during our stay, the last time was at 1:00 AM family were sitting outside holding small children. We use to go to Panama City almost every summer when our children were small. This trip was to meet our daughter who live 800 miles from us and to spend time with our grandson, but in the future we plan to find a more family destination like PCB was in the past.

Condo was exactly as pictured. Beach, pool, and hotel in general were very nice.

Bed was literally broken in half when we arrived. Feces still in the toilet, dirty dishes in the sink. It took two hours to get a manager on the phone. I was told I would be refunded immediately( to try to find a new room) then it turns out it took a week to get. 9 hours away from home and not a good experience to be stranded with no help.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews online, but I feel like this needs to be shared. The positives, Shores of Panama is great, the pool and beach view is beautiful and you have reserved parking close by. Unfortunately, the condo is filthy. Luckily we packed cleaning supplies anticipating to sanitize a little extra due to the pandemic, but was not expecting to have to completely clean the place before I felt comfortable with my small child spending the weekend here. Also, communication with the rental company is severely lacking. My confirmation email stated that I would get another email within 24 hours with more information. When that email was never received I emailed, messaged through VRBO, texted, and called multiple times asking for check in information days before our arrival date. It wasn’t until 5 minutes before check in time this information was relayed to me. There was no welcome letter as with every other rental I’ve been in before, providing a WiFi password, parking instructions, information on where to get arm bands, what to clean before check out, etc. We had to go to the reception desk to answer most questions. Also, the toilet in the master bath doesn’t flush without using a plunger but due to the lack of communication we dealt with it for the length of our stay instead of battling to talk to the rental company. Overall, we had a fun stay, but have definitely stayed in better rentals and dealt with better management!

Property is amazing!

Floor was dirty but location great. Kitchen needs to be cleaned from black soil on backsplash but beds were comfy and beach was great.

The room was comfy and the property was kept clean. The only issues were the elevators. They are super slow, probably because there are not enough for that many floors. And the parking garage takes forever too.
