Shores Club 505 | Oceanfront Condo w Pool, Tennis, Balcony + Beach Access

The view was great. Some things in the condo were not. The online pictures showed a coffee maker with both drip pot and Keurig. Only a drip was available. I packed for a Keurig. The lighting was not sufficient for reading or for older people. Some of the bulbs were burnt out. The fan/light in the guest bedroom doesn’t work. Towel set were only enough for one per guest for four days. Didn’t realize I was to do laundry on vacation. A warning indicator along the bottom patio doors would be wonderful. The door code for the condo door was simple. The codes for the rest of the complex were hard to understand.

The view wqs top notch! Floor to ceiling windows with a 180 view, I never turned my tv on! The place was immaculate, the kitchen had every gadget imaginable (air fryer, blender, crockpot, etc). The beds were comfortable as well as the couches. The amenities were great. 10/10 would recommend! Cant wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful views and accomodations were very good. Beds were comfortable, and condo was very clean. Need better access to electrical plugs in bedrooms and entrance door lock was an issue a few times. However, we would probably book again

The view from the condo was gorgeous. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans that were adequate for cooking meals. The condo looked like it had been recently renovated.

We had a wonderful time. INCREDIBLE view and the water is so perfect here. I had no idea! We enjoyed being out if the fray of the populated area — this is a calm part of Daytona Beach. The waves were strong. But we loved it!! Really comfortable furniture & beds too. Lots of options for seating. Also appreciated access to free washer & dryer. And the beach equipment was really appreciated!! We did have an issue trying to get into the room because our codes wouldn’t work. But the people at the customer service number were really helpful and we did manage to get in within 10 minutes of arrival.

Couldn’t check in because the water was being fixed in the bathroom. When we finally got in the lock on the door did not work. Was texting with the management company for over 30 minutes trying 5 different codes! Not a good feeling! Our poor dog was crying in the unit but we could t get to him. None of the TVs worked. Such poor internet. Kitchen sink faucet barely worked. Master bed mattress was awful and the sheets felt like sandpaper. We paid a premium for this unit and it under delivered. This unit needs updating.

After a few pre-arrival emails and multiple calls we were finally able to get in around 5:30.

The condo was nicely decorated and very clean. It was well stocked and located near all the places we like to frequent when we’re in the area. But the best part is the view. The living room and master bedroom had a “wall of glass” to watch the waves of the ocean and beautiful sunrises.

This is a lovely, extremely flat stretch of beach, which does not allow cars other than official vehicles. There is a staircase and a long ramp leading the condo area to the beach itself, which is convenient for people with mobility issues. Heads up: There are no beach chairs or beach towels with the unit. Also, no washer or dryer available. This is a common amenity in many Beach rentals, so good to know before you go. Would recommend they change the mattress in the master bedroom, it was very broken in. Also, the chairs on the balcony are way past their prime. While we were there, there was constant construction on the seawall, so we had noise about 6 to 8 hours every day. This area was damaged by hurricane two years ago, so not surprised there’s some ongoing work.

This condo was just like it is described! Beautiful all the way through. This was the entire group’s first to Daytona Shores and it was simply amazing!! The beach was calming and relaxing. There was only about 40 people or so around us on the beach every day (the third week of July). The only drawback was that we didn’t have an indefinite stay!

We have stayed in this condo on two occasions. The first was in September and the second was in July. The condo itself is great - clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The hosts are very easy to deal with, and checking in was very straightforward. The visit in September was great because of fewer occupants. The most recent visit in July was less enjoyable because other guests laid towels on every chair around the pool by 6:00am and never returned all day. The same guests set up 40+ beach huts at 6:00 every morning and left until noon. It was very difficult to enjoy the beach and pool because of the crowds. In addition, parking was impossible after around 5:00pm because of no spots. The lot is not restricted access, and there are no assigned spots. If you’re looking for a party environment with LOTS of kids and noise, the summer months would be fine. If you’re looking for something quieter, the off season would be the better choice in this building.
