The Master has a cozy king-size bed, while the living room features a queen-size sofa sleeper, all framed by large windows which lead to a desirable lanai setting.
Guests enjoy full access to resort amenities: pool, fitness center, BBQ area, and tennis courts. A brief walk reveals a delightful selection of restaurants, shops, and a luxury cinema.

If the Reservation is canceled at least 30 or more days before the reservation check-in date, the Guest will be refunded 97% of the initial deposit amount. Cancellations of less than 30 days will result in a 100% loss of all payments. This loss can be avoided if the cancelation waiver was purchased through Rental Guardian or a Travel Insurance provider of the Guest's choice. Aloha Kona Vacation Rentals does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as weather, road conditions, hurricane conditions, power outages, tsunamis, lava eruptions, or brush fires.

The condo was lovely and spacious with good amenities. The property manager was fantastic. She responded immediately when I noted the condo did not have some necessities like a broom or vacuum. Our major dissatisfaction was the bed. Every time you would turn over the bed would rock and it was not comfortable. The bed needs to be replaced.
The condo was well equipped with everything. The place was very clean. The location was walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the beaches.
The home was sparkling clean and very well appointed with new high end appliances. The view from the huge balcony was private and beautiful looking out over hardened lava flows and the mountain of Mauna Kea. One of the best beaches and sunset viewing on the Big Island is a short walk. The home is very well located to enjoy all the best beaches.
We stayed four nights in this artfully decorated condo, that had everything we needed!. A quiet location with a great view of Mauna Loa, it was withing easy walking distance of at least one restaurant, and 1.5 miles from the King's and Queen's Marketplaces for shopping. Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our week here very much! We have stayed in the Wailoloa resort area several times, and enjoy sightseeing in the northern part of the island. The condo is beautiful and has everything we could want! It does not have a water view but we enjoyed seeing the sun come over the mountains each morning. The lanai is very spacious and a nice place to relax and eat a meal.
I booked this trip as a 50th birthday gift to me, as I've been going to Hawai'i nearly every year. This is the first time I've stayed in The Shores, and the unit was exactly as it appears in the listing. No issues at all with check-in or check-out, and the unit was clean upon arrival. A few small challenges here and there, but those were quickly and effectively resolved by Dani, the property manager. The complex itself is very well maintained, and I spent a lot of time in the pool area as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit and complex to anyone for their stay.
Well appointed condo. Clear instructions for check-in and codes. Clean, good location, breakfast on lanai every morning, nice pool and spa, very quiet(most of time). 20 minute walk to beach. Didn't rate a 5 because of 3 incidents. Awakened one night at 11 PM due to movement of furniture and operation of a noisy vacuum cleaner in above condo. Lasted 10+ minutes. 3 nights later were awakened at 1:30 AM with noisy movement and placement of furniture in same condo above us. Sounded like the shuffling of furniture on a dance floor! Also lasted 10+ minutes. Then on morning of departure, while packing and showering at 9:00 AM, a repairman showed up at the front door to service the air conditioning unit. Told him to contact whomever scheduled him that he can come back after 11:00 after we have left.
Management was helpful and responsive as needed.
Immaculate condo. Well appointed, super clean, incredibly convenient to the best of the Kohala Coast.
Just had a little problem with microwave/oven. Everything is smart these days. Not senior friendly. Very nice unit. Fully supplied. Great location

We had a great experience at this property. The unit is very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The property ground is beautiful and I really enjoyed having my cup of coffee on the lanai and watching tropical birds flying around in the morning.
Great location. Close to restaurants, shops and beach. It was clean and great space for a couple. It has a nice outdoor lanai. Kitchen had what we needed to do some cooking. Bed was comfortable. Check in was easy.
Clean, bright, lots of room. Grounds well maintained, and pool great. Would stay again.

Beautiful condominium complex and surrounding area! Able to walk to the Hilton and the Kings and Queen shops very quiet and never saw anyone else when we were using the elevator! Great pool and jacuzzi to use! Plenty of towels and dishes and glasses but needed a few more silverware! Had 2 beach chairs but little beach toys! Also had a free beach to see a couple of miles from condo! We would love to come back again!! Had paper towels and tissue paper and laundry soap and bathing soap !! It is a 5 star ⭐️!!
Peaceful and quiet location. The lānai overlooks a waterfall pond. You can watch the sunrise and the moonrise. The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, dishes, flatware, baking dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. Good Coffee Pot. Comfortable Bed. Short Walking distance to the King and Queen Shopping Center and Restaurants. I Will Definitely Return!
1st, this unit is a nice size unit and fit my needs. The photos, when I rented this unit June 2022, are from the realtor listing when the condo sold (for an enviable low price during Covid). The new owner(or the property management team) had the floors replaced. It’s no longer carpet. It’s probably a laminate Koa wood looking product that looks so much better than the carpet. Some of the baseboards haven’t been replaced and the floor is uneven but that’s probably the unit, not the flooring. There is one seam in the kitchen that is coming up. All the art has been updated, there are nice cushions on the balcony furniture and the appliances are updated. There are 2 microwaves for some reason, maybe renters didn’t realize the wall unit was a microwave and an oven, and the refrigerator is small but nice. Don’t plan to shop for the week with this fridge but the store is so close, and reasonably priced. The 1980’s window coverings have been replaced, but they didn’t cover all the old attachment spots. The furniture has been rearranged better in the bedroom and the bedroom looks nicer than the photos. There is still some 80’s lighting and glass bathroom bricks but they work. It’s fine. We had ants in the kitchen and a tiny beige lizard looking thing but all manageable. There are 2 beach chairs and a cooler bag on the balcony. There are beach/pool towels even though my listing said no house towels outside…these were clearly for outside use. There was a lovely welcome basket of snacks, a pineapple, some tea/honey and coffee for 1 pot. It was good coffee! This is a no smoking property, the entire property, yet we smelled smoke in our unit the first 2 nights that possibly may have been coming from the rental unit above. There was a supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash but I’m not sure if that was just left over from prior renters. The unit was mostly quiet except the AC clicking on and off in the living room so sofa sleepers may be disturbed.The fabric of the sofa was super rough, I used a sheet as a slipcover. The unit above was having some glass work done the morning we left but we were up for hours already before they started at 9ish. In check in day we did not get our door code via email. And when I called Dani was prompt in getting be the code. Housekeeping was still in the unit at 4pm when we arrived, but they were packing up. The toilet room is small requiring a maneuver to close it while inside.
Condo is well stocked and immaculate. Excellent location. Very quiet. Been a wonderful vacation.
