We parked our car in front of our condo at 8:30 pm the night we checked in. By the time we were settled and put our children to sleep it was 10:00 pm. During that time, I reached out to customer service twice - once to help access the condo from the doorknob keypad and once to let them know we only received one parking pass for the weekend. We should have received two - one for each family staying in the condo. We walked outside at 10:00 pm to find that our car was being towed. Person 1 was operating the tow truck and Person 2 was flagging cars to be towed. Person 2 was confrontational and unwilling to listen to reason. Person 1 attempted to take cash to unhook our car. Person 1 eventually took a credit card so I could have a receipt. Person 2 continued to be hostile by forcing our car off the lot for the entirety of the weekend. When the tow truck was done with our car, it moved down the parking lot to the next car and they were seen doing the same thing the following night. The keypad was finicky, and it was difficult to access the condo. They asked us not to wear shoes in the house to which we complied until I noticed the kids' feet were completely black with dirt. There were cobwebs in the corners of the rooms including the shower. This condo for 2 nights was expensive. For the amount of money - at the very least - the floors should be clean, the keypad should work, and we should have received 2 parking passes.
We spent a few days at the Lake to shop for our forever home and stayed at Emerald Bay. A great taste of condo living while we looked for homes on the north shores. Great patio for boat watching and relaxing. Clean, inviting place.
