    Stunning beach & gulf water views from the lanai, living room and two primary bedrooms. The pool was clean and warm; garage was a nice asset and we had everything we needed including beach chairs & towels. The only big negative is a groundwater run off pipe discharging horrid rotten egg smelling water next to the lanai which permeates the lanai & spoiling the ambience, we would need to leave the lanai and go inside with doors closed. But if windows/doors open, it also permeates the living areas. Plus, at night, with bedroom windows open, the awful odor comes upstairs into the bedrooms. It's really bad and hopefully this could be corrected. We are on the fence as to whether we would rent here again because of the ongoing bad odors; maybe it can be corrected with a long run off pipe keeping the bad odors further away from the house.

    Pool and surrounding area was filthy dirty for our family; the garage door didn't work and the pool was unheated - these latter two eventually fixed but inconvenient for the outrageous price of the rental!!Sanibel Beach Club II when renovated in 2025 is a much better place to stay and also very close to the beach - it is walkable to shops and restaurants too! Better Value!

    The cleanliness of the pool and surrounding area was very poor. While there was reasonable room sleeping available, the whole house felt cramped, cluttered and small. The pool went unheated for several days and was not a comfortable pool arrangement. Access to the beach was fine. Condos at Sanibel's East End (currently undergoing reconstruction after IAN) like Sanibel Beach Club II (SBCII) is MUCH better, Cleaner and closer places to see within easy walking distance and biking is available. This location was too close to public access parking so more people were around and not as serene as the SBCII. Way overpriced and I would NEVER go back to this VRBO again. Feel taken and not a good feeling when you believe a vacation would be nice for the family. THIS IS DEFINITLY NOT THE PLACE.

    This condo unit was absolutely perfect in every way: Great location at end of road with no traffic. Directly on beach. Extremely clean. Bedroom suite's views were breathtaking...(better than the pics). Had the pool to ourselves. Wonderful management folks to work with.

    As reported to Beth, there is a regular overflow of water to the right of the property that discharged frequently creating nasty odour and attracted mosquitoes. I realise there are mosquitoes in Florida but this was the one thing for us that let the property down as the overflow of water did not appear consistent with the high standards for the rest of the property. BBQ was dirty when we arrived too.

    This was our first visit to the island since Hurricane Ian. We were excited to see the recovery efforts and the Sanibel friendliness all around the island. This property was perfect for our family of grandparents, adult children and two teenagers. It was clean, well stocked for kids who want to eat every two hours, and an easy walk to the beach. The only negative was the lack of welcome communication and flexibility of the Gulf Coast Vacation Rental Company.

    Washer and dryer were a nice surprise. Noise neaqrby from restoration. Plumbing effluent by property. Location and spaciousness were great. Kirtchen was nicely accessorized.
