Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a place to focus on your next artistic project, or a family vacation, Seabreeze on the Harbor has everything you need to make your stay unforgettable.

Imagine sitting on the deck with a steaming mug of coffee or tea, taking in the sights and sounds of a working Maine Harbor. Watch the sun rise over islands and granite ledges dotting Stonington Harbor.

Walk out the front door and around the corner to find Stonington’s charming village. Grab an iconic lobster roll and meander through lovely gift shops and galleries that highlight the vibrant artistic community on island.

Families will delight in visiting nearby Sand Beach, a sweet sandy cove with picturesque views of surrounding islands and Mark Island Lighthouse.
Wander through the farmer’s market and find the perfect treasures to remind you of your Maine Adventure. Stroll across the street and let the kids play at the new playground while you enjoy your fresh cup of coffee.

For the adventurous, rent kayaks and paddle the surrounding waters, for those with gumption, sail to one of the nearby islands open to the public for day use. Take in the natural beauty of the island while exploring one or more of the many nature preserves protected by the Island Heritage Trust. Better yet, download a self guided nature tour to follow as you hike over lush mossy trails.

Perhaps off island calls to you…discover the Blue Hill Peninsula including the towns of Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Penobscot, Sedgwick and Surry. Only an hour and a half from Stonington is Acadia National Park, “Crown Jewel of the North Atlantic Coast.” Nature enthusiasts will be rewarded with magnificent views of granite peaks and rocky outcroppings thrusting into the sea.

At the end of the day, return to your home away from home. Put your feet up, take in the salty air and relax on the porch while watching the sun sink into Stonington Harbor.

We invite you to join us at Seabreeze on the Harbor and discover why guests return again and again to this magical island.

Truly a beautiful property. The pictures do not do it justice. The view and location are the best in Stonington. Equipped with everything you could need. Charming decor. Interesting art and books. Exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to visit again. Also dealing with the owners was a pleasure.

Nicole and her family did a marvelous job of outfitting this charming second-story apartment in a vintage harbor front building, to provide visitors with a quintessential Stonington experience. Once longtime owners of our own Deer Isle house, we know the island well and had high expectations. In fact, this was the best equipped VRBO we’ve ever stayed in, and certainly the most charming. We enjoyed unobstructed views of Stonington’s fascinating working harbor from inside the airy unit and the private deck. It was a special treat to wine and dine ourselves on the deck while watching Stonington’s July 4 fireworks. Location was great, a short walking distance to every restaurant in Stonington. We would love to return!

The property and area exceeded our expectations. Seabreeze on the harbor 2 was SPOTLESS, well stocked with everything needed, and the views were amazing. We enjoyed our little deck as well as the Adirondack’s in the yard. It was so relaxing looking out at the working harbor watching the lobster boats and tall ships come and go.Hosts Nicole and her husband Rick were extremely accessible and answered any questions we could have, but we didn’t have many since their thoughtful attention to details answered our questions before we asked. Dinner at Fin and Fern just a few doors down the road was excellent. Just a short walk away Lunches and dinner at 27 Fathoms was wonderful while sitting on the deck overlooking the harbor. Live lobsters from the lobster co-op literally a 2 min. Ride away and seafood from Coldwater Seafood made for some delicious eat in dinners. Thank you Nicole and Rick for sharing your little slice of heaven! We will be back!

We three sisters and our elderly mom simply loved staying here and would come back in a heartbeat. All expectations surpassed, of the property, the surroundings and the hosts. We didn't mind a bit that the weather was gray and rainy because we simply enjoyed the lovely view over the harbor, the tide rolling in and out, lounging comfortably in the living room and taking delight in all the house had to offer from furnishings to appliances to the wonderful collection of books, games and seashells. We took both floors and had ample room to spread out between a total of five bedrooms and three baths. But either floor is great for a smaller party. Hosts are just lovely. Even better than it looks in the photos!

We have nothing but great things to say about our stay here. From the beautiful views and location in a cute small town, we enjoyed waking up to the sunrise and walking to some of the local shops and restaurants. This property had everything we would need from cooking to games and books to keep us entertained the entire weekend. The hostess of this property was very good at letting us know what things we could do in an off season time and was great to work with. We will definitely be back some day.

My wife and I have vacationed in Stonington, ME for almost 20 years. This vacation just might be our best ever! We loved this property. We were familiar with this house, having viewed it over the years. We are so impressed with how it has been remodeled. The view is wonderful….you have a near total view of Stonington harbor. In addition to watching the activity of the lobster boats, you will get views of the big windjammer schooners out of Camden that frequently come into port. There is no better location in Stonington. Restaurants, shops, the public landing for launching kayaks and small boats are all short walks away. Every morning and evening we did our favorite sunrise and sunset walks around town. The apartment is so nice and clean and furnished beautifully. There is an endless supply of wonderful books to peruse and enjoy. This is a perfect place to experience an authentic Maine fishing village. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed our week at this property. I was there for a painting workshop and we were within walking distance of many of the painting locations. Easy walk to restaurants and a grocery store too We absolutely loved the views of the busy harbor. Both sunrise and sunset are magical to watch from here. My classmates in the art class agreed that our place was spectacular. Host was responsive, property was easy to check in to. Wonderfully stocked kitchen supplies and many local recommendations too. We will be back!

We highly recommend this lovely apartment on the harbor. The place is lovely, relaxing and so well cared for. The hosts are communicative and welcoming. Stinington is a cute and non-touristy town you can enjoy and use as a great jumping off place for so many sights on the ME coast.
