Sea la Vie: Beachfront 3-bedroom condo just steps to OKI Beach

Our stay at Sea la Vie was absolutely wonderful! Tracy and Dan provided every detail and ammenity would could possibly need, the location was perfect, and we felt right at home the entire time. I very much hope we will be able to come back again in the future!!

Sea la Vie was the perfect location for my husband, two teens, father in-law, & myself. It was steps away from both the beach and pool. The views from the deck and inside the condo were beautiful.

Great property with great view and access to the beach. Walking to restaurants near by was also great! Plenty of space for the whole family.

Wonderful condo. Fully stocked, you just need your sunscreen and a beer. Really stunning views and comfortable. Perfect for our family.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. I loved the ease of access to the beach, easy parking and relaxing decor and layout of the beach condo. Easy walk to restaurants, but peaceful location.

My stay at this property was incredibly disappointing, to say the least. While the pictures match the front part of the house (like the kitchen and living room), the back part (specifically the bathrooms and laundry area) was not nearly as put together or beautiful as advertised. The most alarming issue was the rats. We woke up to find rats had chewed through our unpacked bags in both the living room and kitchen areas. They had gnawed through the bags and scattered pieces of the bags around the house in their search for food. When I reached out to the owner, she was responsive but suggested that we go to the grocery store, purchase traps and peanut butter, and set the traps ourselves. Initially, I considered doing so, but after thinking it over and considering the safety of my small children, I decided against it. I did not want to risk my kids being traumatized by seeing a rat in a trap. The owner explained a recent flood had caused rats to get in. She made it seem like this was a one-time issue. However, after further investigation it became clear that this was a recurring problem with rodents at the property. To make matters worse, this happened during my daughter’s birthday. we had to cut our trip short, leaving in the middle of the night after consulting with VRBO, who advised we leave due to the health and sanitary issues. Also, take a look at the cleaning expectations and’s cleaning fees…. THEY DON’T MATCH! You shouldn’t have to pay AND clean?!

This is our second year staying here and would recommend to anyone coming to Oak Island! Great location, clean, and has great amenities. Great communication from the owners too!

The condo was absolutely gorgeous and the view was amazing! It was clean and had a lot of amenities to get us started. The beach chairs and umbrella were a great perk as well. Lots of great restaurants and stores to walk to. Great communication with the owners and appreciate their quick response.

We very much enjoyed this beautiful condo with a stunning view because of its end location! The deck was a little smaller than we expected, but room enough for four to enjoy a drink, but not dine outside. It is very close to the beach access- just a short walk-which was nice getting all of our beach supplies set up! The host was very prompt responding to any question or need that we had. There were only a couple of minor kitchen items we would’ve used that were not available, but overall, very well-appointed. We rented two condos for all of our kids and grandkids to vacation together which worked out great! The pool was never crowded and was easy to go back and forth from the beach. The beach itself was beautiful sand and plenty of space for fun activities. We would definitely come back!

This trip was a short stay but the beautiful place made us long for more. Everything was clean and organized. The views were spectacular. We will definitely stay here again. Also owners do everything to make sure you are happy. They reply to your questions as soon as they can which I like.

The Sea La Vie is clean, well stocked, well maintained, comfortable, and located in a great spot at Oak Island. There are other nice condos in the same complex for family and friends to rent (we had 3 condos), clean covered parking, walkable restaurants, stores, ice cream, coffee shops. Very handy big storage locker for chairs and beach toys. The pool is small but clean. We like spending time on the beach without a wild pool complex enticing the children all day! It’s quiet at night and we enjoyed looking at the stars. There is a nice rec center about half a mile away, with a splash park, playground, pickleball, and walking path. I walk all around the area by myself every day, it feels safe and people are friendly. I was able to charge my EV at the rec center, and I think it was free. Nice.
