Stayed Aug 30, 2025Our stay fell far below expectations—especially for a property advertised as “luxury.” The check-in and parking process was disorganized & frustrating, and while the view was nice, the interior quickly revealed numerous issues: cracked dining chairs, worn furniture, dirty walls, and multiple non-functioning TVs with missing remote batteries.The queen bedroom had a missing smoke detector, and odd items (a refrigerator, microwave, and baby swing) were stored in the closet. Bathrooms had major problems—holes in the ceiling, misaligned shower doors, dangerously slippery tiles, and slow-draining sinks. One bathroom area was visibly filthy. The unit overall felt neglected and poorly maintained.To make matters worse, the total cost—nearly 1,000 for just two nights after the additional resort fee—was absurd given the condition of the property. We reached out to the host requesting some form of compensation, but were completely ignored.This was not a luxury experience by any stretch, and we sincerely hope these issues are addressed for future guests. This was our first experience using VRBO and unfortunately not a good one.
