Santa Rosa Beach retreat with shared pool, hot tub, close to dining, & parks

Property has great access to the beach and is within walking distance or short drive to a variety of dining options. I had to call maintenance regarding a leaky plumming connection - It appears initial construction lacked some quality control - but got a very quick response and repair.

Went for a weekend getaway with daughter. Always love staying at Gulf Place for the location. Unit was fine. Had issue with TV, worked for a little while after maintenance visit, then down again. Worn fixtures and finishes, but comfortable place with nice layout.

Clean and perfect view! My 78 year mother slept on bed. She said it was very soft. My brother 56 years old slept on sofa because the sofa bed was broken at the head rest. I slept on lower bunk. It was all good for a short trip. Most importantly clean. Plenty of towels and everything for cooking. I would recommend a screen door to keep biting insects from entering condo.

We did not like our stay. Upon arriving we discovered that the place needs a lot of work - stains on the ceiling, minimum kitchen ware, dining table chair broken, mattress that’s pretty much like a blowup air mattress…. Awful! To make it worse, we requested more towels after discovering a few that looked dirty - Vacasa basically texted me that there is a laundry room. I was told they only provide starter towels, I would be responsible if we needed additional towels for our 4 night stay. I was shocked. I’ve never had a rental where they didn’t provide ample towels for a beach stay and we’ve been going to 30a for over 5 years. I finally called and got additional towels. The towels were so incredibly worn and rough - they were like rags. Later, it took me 3 Vacasa agents to give me the laundry room code. The first 2 just kept referencing the laundry rooms in the building. Zero customer service. We contemplated leaving but stayed for fear of losing the money we already paid (in full). In my opinion, the theme to this place was “let’s provide and do as a little as possible.” Location is fine but not on the beach - have to go across a busy street to reach the entrance. There is not a private beach - once you get to the beach you see a sign that points you to the public beach for Gulf Place guests. I think overall the location is fine but we would not stay at this rental again.

The property was really clean and decor was nice and peaceful. Access to the beach was great. So many restaurants and shops in the area in walking distance and art places to look at and classes to take. The mattress was really nice. Would stay there again.

We were happily surprised by the location within the neighborhood with all the shops and restaurants! We had a view of the beach and it was a very short walk to the beach access. The property is well kept. The beds were a little uncomfortable and could’ve used thicker comforters than the thin quilts. Over all, a satisfactory stay.

This property offers an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico. The rooms are on the small side but big enough for several adults and/or children. There are many amenities nearby (shopping, dining, etc.) and the beach is just across the street. I hope to visit this property again.

We like staying at this location and rented couple times now. The location has always been great! This time our beds was an issue. My kids bed was pretty much a foam and with one thin sheet cover not a quilt and one flat sheet. We requested extra blanket 3 TIMES and got no one to delivery it!!!! Not a call back or anything. The first call was late and I did not expect anyone to help that night so my kids went to bed cold using towels as extra blankets! So next day, figure I would be in line for 2 blankets delivery. At noon still nothing, so I called customer services again! They check and my order was in the Q! Waited and waited then it was 4:45pm still NOTHING, so called again. All the customer service people on the call seemed concerned but then I hear nothing back from them! So the 3rd call- they were going to call and text the person and for sure we got nothing! Still no blanket for our 3rd night stay. So sad this was not well processed! The master bed was so soft that we would sleep in a sink hole….not ideal sleeping in a hole no support. For some reason the cleaning people did not put the bed skirt back on, just seems carelessness. The place need more updating, not a big deal such as laminate countertop chipped and cabinets are delaminating. Toilet paper dispenser fell off and faucet does not meet ADA lever on the handle! We hope you guys fix the customer service experience as we always enjoyed that area and now we are questioning our next stay. We will book another place.

The view from the condo was beautiful. We’ve stayed at Gulf place for several years and love the atmosphere. The condo was missing some necessities ; there were No blankets for the fold out couch and the bed in the bedroom was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Compared to other units on the property, we felt this one was lacking. However, the view from our balcony will keep us coming back.

It was a great place to stay. It was close to the beach and was handicap assessable. It was close to local restaurants that were great to eat at. I would highly recommend gulf place to stay.

Everything right there within walking distance. Definitely will stay there again.
