Sands Lookout at Nye Beach - Beach front,Easy access condo with great ocean view

We had a very relaxing stay at Sands Lookout. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our host was helpful and always in good communication with us. Highly recommend Sands Lookout.

Great location and view. Owner anticipates our every need. Comfortable, well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, very mobility friendly.

We just checked out today (August 3rd) after staying (unfortunately) just 1 night. As soon as we pulled out to drive home I immediately began looking at dates to return. This condo is TOP notch! From the beautiful views, the amenities and all of the extras Shirley provided it is by far the best place to date we’ve stayed at on the Oregon Coast. Shirley has thought of everything to make sure you have the most fabulous visit. She even left us a thank you card, a coffee card and some special snacks. It was an amazing touch. I brought my book with me and did not even pick it up once. I sat in the most comfortable recliner with the slider open staring at the beautiful ocean. I’ve never felt so relaxed. So relaxed I couldn’t even pick up a book! We walked on the beach which was steps outside the front door. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect location. We can’t wait to return. Excellent condo with everything you need, a fully stocked kitchen, and a great view! We had a wonderful stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Nye Beach. We have previously stayed in a different unit in this same condo building, but this was by far our favorite! The condo is clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue with the electronic lock on the front door when we first arrived, but Shirley answered our call right away and helped us troubleshoot it. The lock worked perfectly for the rest of our stay. We will definitely stay again!

The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well stocked for our quick trip to the coast. And what a view! The owner was lovely to work with and was responsive and helpful when we had to make an adjustment to our plans. Highly recommend and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!

Everything was good

Everything was provided and the management even left my wife a birthday card because I had mentioned it was her birthday present.

My mother (84) and I (58) stayed here for a weekend to celebrate mother/daughter birthdays. We could not have found a nicer place!! It was spacious, cleanly, and stocked with everything you could need; we felt so at-home. The view was gorgeous, as this condo is right on the beach and the beach access is just next door. Also, Nye Beach shops and eating places were in walking distance. We loved our visit and will be back!

One of the best stays we have had at the coast. Accommodations were perfect and the view was amazing.

The place is so clean and inviting. The view extraordinary with a nice deck just outside the living area. It is blocks to some nice shops and restaurants in the Nye Beach area. I'm saying this place to return another time.

Extremely clean, comfortably furnished, well-supplied, wonderful view, great beach access, walkable area with nearby restaurants, easy-access and check-in, accessible and responsive host. In other words, simply perfect. We look forward to returning!

Amazing 180 degree beach and ocean views! Love love love this condo. Great location with ships and restaurants very close for an easy walk. Host was fabulous, responsive and condo had lots of touches for comfort. Good decor, good bed. Just loved the whole place!

What a truly lovely place to stay. Shirley was gracious and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked -- better than any other place I've stayed on the coast. Everything about this rental is exactly as described. If I return to Newport, I will definitely want to stay here again.

This was a great property! You can really tell Shirley cares about your stay. There were so many little thoughtful touches she put into the experience. The condo is beautiful and updated, very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend!

Just what I needed. Picked this place on an impulse trip to the coast. I Had no idea what a little gem this place would turn out to be! I kept seeing exceptional in other reviews, so I thought ide give it a go. And it truly turned out to be “exceptional”. The view of the ocean was amazing! The condo itself was so incredibly clean. Nicely furnished with charming decor. It’s in a sweet little neighborhood with a few, charming small restaurants and shops. I was so pleased with the place that I tried to extend my stay but learned it was already booked. And Shirley, the owner, responds to texts so quickly. I learned The only reason I was able to book this place on an impulse was because somebody had last minute canceled. Quite the blessing for me at a time I needed a get away after the loss of a close friend. Planning to return in the future, but I’ll know to look in advance. In reading reviews left in the guestbook it seems that there are many, many people who return over and over once they find this sweet little treasure.

Beach view could not have been better, and it's just a short walk to the beach. Many restaurant options are nearby, and Shirley makes it easy to prepare your own meals because she supplies EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We've never found any other rental as well-stocked as this. She is easy to contact if anything comes up. The only glitch is that the TV doesn't have the news shows we like.

This was a great place for us while visiting relatives in Newport. The 1st floor is easy access and good moving luggage inside. The interior is newly refurbished so is VERY clean and comfortable. Furniture is nice and not broken down or worn out. The master bed mattress was a bit too soft for us but still nice sleeping conditions. Great views and access to the beach. Highly recommend

This was an incredible location for our stay. It was beautiful and the views were unmatched. The condo itself was immaculately clean and so comfy. The little touches presented by the host were so thoughtful and made the whole stay feel like something extra special. The rental had everything needed to enjoy either going out or staying in. We would love to return here in the future and continue to explore the beauty that the Oregon coast has to offer.

This condo is in the Nye Beach area, a really cool part of Newport. The condo was clean and well stocked. Perfect for a couple or family with small kids. The view is awesome and the path to the beach is just around the corner. The owner is a great communicator and does everything needed for a nice stay. There is one reserved parking spot for you and if you have a second vehicle you’ll have to find a spot in the neighborhood. We walked just about everywhere from this location.

Shirley is a delight. The location is perfect, with a great view of the sunset. Super close to lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops.

The living room furniture was super nice and comfortable .. the best I’ve experienced in a rental home. Kitchen was stocked with teas, and sugar and other convient items. The house was lovely and then of course there is the view and location … the host was super nice. We will rebook …

This was a clean property with a wide glass door and windows, plus a balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Plenty of room and comfortable seating. Very good location, within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The condo was as advertised. Well stocked nice welcome goodies, quiet, clean and an amazing view. When we weren’t on the beach we were sitting on the deck with binoculars watching the ocean. The weather was very favorable, sunny all three days. We will recommend this condo to our family and friends.

Our short stay here was simply amazing, the view and sunsets were a definite plus. The condo is clean and well taken care of. Shirley is an amazing host and makes you feel welcome in her place. She even helped us out after leaving some items behind. Wish we could of stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone who is staying in the area.

This 2 bathroom apartment had all the amenities anyone could ask for, plus a gorgeous beach view from a ridge about 30 feet above. It was very clean, and Shirley texted occasionally to make sure all our needs were met. It's a wonderful place to be on the beach or to just sit in one of the comfortable recliners and watch it from above. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Apartment perfectly equipped and organized, location spectacular

I absolutely loved my weekend stay at Shirley’s beachfront condo! I needed a weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and this was just perfect. The condo was clean and stocked and so welcoming. The ocean view was insane and so therapeutic. Newport is a great town with lots do and explore. I shall be returning as my yearly get away. Highly recommend
