    Great location, TV in living room did not turn on, the master bedroom has old TV that turned on after several minutes, i texted the manager and she never responded back about the tv, the property was cleaned. However, the living room furniture was stained and dirty, and there's looks like a shower pan leak that is deteriorating the wood framing in the shower and there's a mold growing. When you walk into the entryway, there's holes in the drywall.Where apparently there was flooding from the prior storms.Beds were great.

    1) The property was not as shown on the VRBO site - it had sustained damage from the last storm and was not clean as indicated. Stains on the carpet leading into the apartment, spider and ant infestation (probably related to the gaping hole in the screen door to the patio), and horrible odor covered up with air fresheners were just some of the issues. 2) Communication was TERRIBLE! We were told to follow posted instructions that were clearly out of date. The property manager was difficult to reach and even more difficult to understand. She did not offer to help with any issues.3) Security was not as indicated - there was no one on duty during the day and the entrance was not gated. People from the surrounding community were very aware and using the beach and pool facilities.4) The last person to rent the unit forgot to leave the amenities pass and we were instructed to ask another tenant who was already inside to open it for us. Unfortunately when we went to use the facilities there was no one already inside that could let us in5) The we decided to leave a day early when we heard an argument outside the master bedroom in the middle of the night. The next morning we found trash and a set of brass knuckles in the grass area below. We tried to alert security and hand over the weapon but both of the security vehicles were empty.It was so bad we left early and never heard from the property manager - nothing like our previous rentals.     Location is great and love that it’s pet friendly! Our manager, Carmen, who we’ve had in the past, is so easy to work with and responds quickly. Overall I would recommend.

    No one seems to care about this place. First thing I replaced 6 light bulbs including the one in the microwave over the stove. The filter in the refrigerator was so old and clogged no water or ice was available. We went to use the vacuum cleaner it was so clogged with dirt it didn't work. The TV in the living room is so old it takes a minute to start up and the picture is fuzzy. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. The toilet in the downstairs bath runs all day and there's something growing in the half bath. I could go on but why DON'T GO

    The townhouse at Little Harbor was quite nice. It was clean and outfitted with enough kitchen essentials for us to prepare meals on those occasions we decided to eat in. The nearby Sunset Grill is a great place to eat outside and enjoy the view. The only downside to staying there is the 30 to 40 minute drive to Tampa, Sarasota, or St. Petersburg.

    Little Harbor Resort can't be beat. It is a private area away from the congestion of the larger beach resort areas. This is our fourth year staying here. We loved watching the manatees each day, the pelicans and osprey fishing in the mornings from our condo and balcony. Sunsets are the best at Little Harbor!

    We booked our first trip to Ruskin with friends staying in the same complex. THANK GOODNESS! Upon arrival our code was wrong, our friends had to get that from the owner. The next day a toilet was constantly running and we called the property manager 3+ to NEVER have a call returned. I spoke to the owner, she never told me if they came out to fix it. The next day a letter was on the door stating some water issue had occurred so we were having our water shut off within 12 hrs from 9:30am-4:30pm so plan accordingly. I again reached out to the owner, she told me it was out of her control. Next, a few days later all smoke alarms went off in the unit for 20 min, for no reason. I again called the owner who called property manager and they came over while we were out to just take out the smoke alarms. Their response to fix it was to just remove them from the unit which is less than safe or up to code. The next day alarms went off at 3am and that was my final straw. We checked out and when I let the owner know the check out procedures in the binder they leave was outdated because we never had a key to the pool or parking passes as it stated she didn’t seem to care. Never once was the owner apologetic about all of these occurrences, she should have at least offered some sort of compensation. If you have zero expectations and want a less than adequate place to stay go for it. I would not recommend!

    Place was a little far from Anna Maria Island it look closer to us when we book it but overall it was a good place to stay. I reached out to host for couple of things and they made it right for me and always a quick response. I recommend it if you are looking to stay in Little Harbor.
