Finding out how to check in was a pain. It was nice to be in our own condo but I didn’t like cleaning the place and throwing out the trash when we were ready to leave. I would have preferred a hotel where I don’t have to do that. For the amount of money we paid I don’t think that’s too much to ask. We go on vacation for a reason and looking back a hotel or motel would have been a better option. We have also stayed in condos around the area where we weren’t required to do all that.

Spacious and comfortable. walking distance to the village. right next to the spa. complete kitchen utensils. responsive host.the only issue was that the unit was hard to find specially arriving past midnight with all the snowcovered paths. a walking map from the parking lot would've been super helpful. we had to loop the property building multiple times by amcar and by foot just to find it. there wasn't enough signs outside of the building either to guide you to this unit

The apartment is clean and nicely located on the corner of the building, first floor, short walk from the hot tub room. The sofas in the living room are very comfortable to sleep (opened or closed). The bus stop is very close, parking is limited, 7 min walk to the Village. We had a big problem checking in, the verification process is not reliable, management doesn't list the phone number, need to go through Vrbo messaging, dealing with not accurate text information. Second issue with the management was after requesting towels and hearing their nice respond that they working on it, we were ghosted and had to purchase our own towels.Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

Nice place with a great location. You can walk to the Village which made our trip more relaxing. The unit itself was a little tricky to find but you just need to look at the numbers on the building. The host had great communication, they reply within minutes.

This condo was perfect for the skiing, golfing, and hiking I did in mammoth lakes. Well located for walking down to the village at night and very accessible to everything.

I’d say this rental was pretty worth it! There was a jacuzzi and a sauna that my girlfriend and I used the first 2 nights after every ski trip we made to mammoth mountain. The price is great however, they do get you with a pretty hefty cleaning and service fee. I’d love to rent the same cabin again because it was spacious for just 2 people. I’d definitely book again before Labor Day if they lower the cleaning and service fee!

Our stay was overall fine, but there were a few big frustrations for which I will not stay with a Grand Welcome Mammoth managed property again. First, there was no lockbox at the property for the key, so we had to drive all the way across town to pick up the key (and drop it off when we left). This was lost time and frustration on our trip, especially considering how cheap/easy it is to throw a Key Lock Box on a door. Second, the property inaccurately explained there was only 1 parking pass for the unit. We were confused by this because a sign in the condo parking lot said two cars per unit. After we shuttled our 2nd car across town to parking for the weekend, we arrived into the unit to find 2 parking passes inside. This again cost us time and was very frustrating. We were a group of 4, and planned on using the two fold out couch beds advertised in the listing. This is advertised as a 4 person listing. When we arrived at the unit though, there was only 1 single extra pillow. Not having at least two pillows for each fold out bed, advertised as sleeping spots, is ridiculous. We had to go buy an extra pillow so that one of us did not have to sleep without one. Additionally, one of the sheet sets for the fold out couches had a series of dark stains on it. This was gross and I am surprised it was not caught by the cleaning crew they claim is so detailed. Otherwise the unit was fine. The property managers were responsive to text.

Good location for Blue line shuttle or walk to Village. Unit was hard to find because it was tucked around a corner and not clearly marked. The 2 pullout sofa beds were dirty. One wasn’t made and had crumbs in the mattress. The other had clearly used sheets. The shower was dirty as well. Management attempted to resolve in barely satisfactory manner by dropping off sheets the next day and expecting me to make/clean beds. They ultimately gave a slight discount, but not really enough to offset the fact that half our group didn’t have sleeping accommodations one night. I had to do all the work and follow up. Otherwise they just would have said too bad.

Overall nice place, everything worked which was nice. Outside light was out though, which made going up the steps to the door a little sketchy. Only thing I'd say is that it could use a few more kitchen tools. No tongs, so when I made bacon I had to improvise, and had to with other meals as well. The check in, although smooth, was kind of a pain because it was on the other side of town from where the condo was, and after skiing (we got in early and hit the hills) was kind of a pain to drive all the way over to get the keys then all the way back. Wasn't too big a deal, just an inconvenience. Also, the kids locked the keys in the place when we went to the hot tub, and they were very responsive (even though it was only through text) to get someone there to let us in, which was much appreciated.Would stay there again, though, checked all the boxes.
