The property was very good. Just be sure to bring your own coffee; yes, a coffee pot (good kitchen, actually), but no coffee. Also, the internet was not available in the bedroom, but was good in the kitchen. The property owner guided me to the property when she saw me drive in, which was very helpful. Property across the street from the condo.
The space was very clean and comfortable, great location and amenities. Will definitely be returning!
We enjoyed every minute. Best place we stayed while in Maine. Loved the old building and little town.
Great location, wonderful deck for wine and lobster right next door. Warning if you don’t do steps. It’s on the second floor. Workable kitchen and very roomy.
This was a great place to stay. It was spacious, clean, and a bit funky with very cool antiques. Loved the deck! The only negative is that I was there during the heat wave and there were AC units in the bedroom and living room but not the big kitchen, which was the best place to set up to work. It got a bit warm in there. I realize the weather was unusually warm but it would have been more comfortable to work if it had AC in that room. I would definitely stay there again.
The apartment was very clean. Owner was very nice and helpful. The only issue we found was the road noise was a problem.
My husband and I were visiting family in Wiscasset and, for the second time, chose this riverfront accommodation. The unit is spacious, a bit funky, and super clean. Everything you want for a week’s vacation is there. The unit lacks a washer and dryer but there is a self service laundry a few miles from town. The highlight of this place is the large deck that overlooks the Sheepscot River. The location is perfect. There are about 15 steps to the unit so those with serious mobility issues might not want to stay here. I’m old and had no problem negotiating the stairs. My husband and I both highly recommend this place.
Central to many places in Maine. Nice that the owners live close by.
Very nice and loved the antiques. Would go back.
The place has soooooo much charm!! Plenty of room and what a view!! The town of Wiscasset is really nice, you can walk to a great restaurant, Water Street Kitchen and Bar. There was great information it the room. We did the walking tour! Cant wait to go back!
This rental made for the sweetest vacation. It places you in the center of the business district, with its adorable shops, and has the best view the town has to offer. Both morning and evening are gorgeous from the deck and the house itself is fascinating, comfortable, and spacious.
Space of apartment but with relentless highway noise.
We very much enjoyed everything about this rental. Even in 85+ degree heat, the breeze off the river kept the deck space & kitchen very cool. Great location for exploring the coast or just walking around town & chill in out.
Condo was very disappointing. Yes we knew there would be steps to get in, but we did NOT know you had to park across the street behind a building and drag all your belongings down a hill across the street and up the steps to get in. The condo was old, we knew that in advance, we did not anticipate that everything was going to be run on power strips, one where an air-conditioner was plugged in was burnt. That air conditioner did not work. We unplugged it to be safe. The entire time we felt as though we were in a fire trap. I would not recommend anyone to stay here and would not return again. If I could I would give it a -10 star rating.
Lovely apartment, great parking, easy access to all that the area has to offer. We hope to be back!
My husband and I were visiting family in the area and wanted our own place during our weeklong visit. This apartment was perfect in terms of location, amenities and cleanliness. The expansive second floor deck has a great water view. The unit was spotless and we had no issues with anything. If you have mobility issues, this apartment would not be a good choice since there are about 20 stairs to the unit. This place has ‘funky charm’ and well worth considering on a visit to the Wiscasset area.
We would totally stay here again. Adorable place, convenient to all of mid coast maine, and so genuinely comfortable.
Enjoyable stay. I forgot to pack all items.help
