Step out the front door and you are steps away from restaurants, shops, Split Rocks Pool and the village center. Step out of the village and take your choice of ski trails down the mountain. New renovations this spring include new queen bedroom suite, new sectional sleeper sofa, new granite counter tops and new kitchen wall tile. This is one of the best units in the village. Rimfire Lodge is the anchor building of Snowshoe Village and features an elegant common area along with a fitness center, sauna, 2 hot tubs, ski and bike lockers, all accessible from inside the building. Paid heated underground parking with direct access to the building and elevators just inside the door, no unloading and trudging across a snow covered parking lot to reach your accommodations. Step through the sliding glass doors of the unit to your own private patio. Central heat and air along with a gas fireplace making for a cozy and comfortable stay any time of year. The bedroom features a queen bed and there is a full size sleeper sofa in the living room to sleep 4 comfortably. If you want fantastic accommodations right in the center of all the action this is the best you can get. You can pay more and you can pay less but you will never have better access anywhere than Rimfire Lodge.

    This was the best stay we’ve ever had at snowshoe. The condo was so well supplied, I would be willing to bet the owner stays here himself and prepped it the way he would like it to be. It was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, even the pull out mattress had a very nice memory foam mattress pad on it. The location of the room was super convenient to the locker and the parking lot, pretty much anything you wanted to get to. I don’t ski myself, so watching Christmas movies on the large tv above the fireplace was much appreciated. I even created a bit of a problem for myself, in which the owner was immediately responsive to and went above and beyond in the check in/out process. We will make sure to book again.

    We had a wonderful stay. The host, Tom was very helpful and communication was excellent! The condo was very clean and had everything that we needed. We also felt the location was great (very close to ski locker and a bonus that we didn't have to go up any stairs with ski boots). We would stay here again!

    I booked this first-floor unit near Split Rock Pool for my parents, who are 79 and 84, and it was absolutely perfect for them. The location was incredibly convenient—just steps from the doors into the Village—so they were able to enjoy all the activities without having to make long walks. The condo itself was very cozy, clean, and well-appointed, with a side view of the stage that still allowed them to enjoy the 4th of July festivities from the comfort of their space. It was the ideal setup for their needs, and I’d absolutely book this unit for them again.

    I couldn't say enough great things about Tom. The communication was superb from the instant we booked it through the checkout. He even shipped us our room key cards to avoid the hassle of checking in when we arrived, which saved us from having to rush to get there before closing. The place is awesome. It was clean and we had everything we needed. The location couldn't be any better. It is right in the center of the Village. Perfect all around!
