    Location was great. However, the unit needs an update. Especially the bathrooms. For the rate per night it was not up to par. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and need replaced.

    Unit was clean, nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, hi speed internet, TV with surround sound. Dated bathrooms . Westwind has ski locker right by exit leading you to the Lionshead lift/gondola. Small pool and spa for apres ski. Many shops and restaurants right outside door so no need to go far but short walk to the in town bus service to shuttle you to Vail Village. Mountain views and right by elevator so easy to go in and out. Underground garage plus luggage carts makes unloading and loading easy if you arrive by car. Easily the best value in Lionshead.

    Very hard to communicate with management (had to send 3 messages before they replied to the first). Fridge and microwave stopped working in the middle of the trip. When I told the management, instead of apologizing, they asked me why didnt i tell them before and that would be a problem to the next guesses (not giving importance to my stay).

    We stayed at this unit for 7 days over the Christmas 2023 holiday. Location was just as described, a literal 3 minute walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola and Chair 8. Unit was spacious, very well equipped and perfect for our family of 4 including 15 year old twins. Only downside if there was one was no washer/dryer in the unit but building had coin laundry in garage.

Unit was clean, well equipped kitchen (coffee maker needs replacement, doesn't get hot enough), beds we all comfortable, nice view of the mountain. Only minor negative is walking up 3 flights of stairs with ski equipment at the day's end. Otherwise, very nice if basic condo in good condition. Management did not allow check-out after 10am which is 1 hour earlier than most hotels.

    Great location, 2mins to the slopes, good value for money. Going through the garage to get to slopes was cumbersome at times as there was only one elevator to access the garage.
